Easy to put together
Real wood. Easy to put together. Directions are a litl confusing. We figured it out. I’d say an hour max. (We had 2 cabinets and 2 people) I’d buy again. Fits what I needed. I didn’t expect top quality as it’s basically department store furniture. We bought 2 for our dining room and slid them together. Plan to custom cut a piece to hide the small gap between the two.Shelf inside is smaller than I expected. I don’t think it’ll hold much weight. I’d buy againthough. serve the purpose I wanted it for and price is fair for quality.

Pretty nice Buffet
I am disabled and can no longer do this stuff, so this sat around in the boxes for quite a few weeks waiting for someone to come around and offer to put it together. My 72-year-old Sis-In-Law showed up a couple days ago and offered to "Git er done"! So, she and my 79-year-old wife tore into it and about 6 hours later did indeed "git er done"! The Instructions can be a bit confusing at different levels. We spent quite a bit of time in discussion and still ended up with one of the face pieces between the door being reversed but I was certain we followed the directions. Not a big deal, we just mounted the door where it should go and ended up with a couple unused pilot holes, which is completely unnoticeable, on the left center divider. The screws provided for the door handles DO NOT FIT. We had to go to the hardware store and buy the correct size screws. Before starting, buy a small bottle of Elmers glue, you're gonna need it and if you don't have a rubber mallet you should probably pick one up. You're also gonna need a #1 and #2 Philips screwdriver as well as a flat tipped one and a regular claw hammer. A small hammer like comes in those home kits worked best for us rather than the full sized one.Double and triple check the directions and compare against the assembled photo often and do not skip ahead. When putting on the back, nail all the corners down first then space the remaining nails equally.Save the smaller thin hardboard packing strips for getting the proper spacing around the doors.Lastly, there are holes in the drawer sides. There is no mention of this in the directions, but they are for drawer stops to prevent the drawers from pulling out too far. After waxing the drawer glides and grooves using paraffin or a candle and ensuring acceptable fit and operation insert the drawers push the pegs flush with the drawer side. You are still able to reach them over the top of the drawer and push them back should removal of the drawer be required. My picture: Yeah, it's looking pretty cramped and messy I know but we just now sat it there and we haven't found a new home for the desk and the trash can yet. We like it. It kinda matches our Hickory Kitchen cabinets and provides quite a bit of badly needed storage space. It's not as solid as I would have built myself when I built furniture for a living but it's solid enough, especially for a DIY kit. I'd buy it again if I needed another. Is it worth the price? Well, I guess it depends on you. I believe it's just a bit overpriced but I'm happy with it.

Beautiful wood, easy to use hardware
I read previous reviews that commented this was difficult to assemble, so maybe I was biased into fearing what was to come. Or maybe the manufacturer added better instructions and/or hardware. Either way, I assembled the cabinet alone (I’m a 45 yr old woman) until I didn’t want to put the doors on without my husband’s assistance. All in all, it was a 2 hour project. I’m happy with the fit, durability, and quality of the wood.

Just no.
One star because it’s pretty. Very difficult to assemble as the majority of it hasn’t any predrilled holes. The wood is not smooth but kind of rough. I got a splinter in my finger the first time I cleaned it. I would not but this item again. I paid over $300 but it’s not even worth half that much. No sliders on the drawers just rough on rough wood and drawers are difficult to open. Very disappointed in this purchase.

Does the job
Overall I am happy with this product. It does it’s job and look nice in my space.Pros:-Lots of storage-Aesthetically pleasing (from afar)-Made from plywood (not particle board)-The buffet top is beautifulCons:-Hard to assemble, some pieces were not labeled-The wood is very soft, a drill will send the screws through the wood if not careful-Wood is easily damaged or split due to softness-Paint is awful. Looks like one coat of a cheap gray primer was sprayed on. It has a rough finish and is easily scratched. There were a few stickers on the cabinet doors that took the paint right off.-The backing is super flimsy. Less structural than cardboard and no support across the middle.-Joints are pretty flimsy. If you push on the front panel even a little you can tell it would be easy to break.-The shelf, which spans the length of the buffet, is only supported by 2 plastic pegs on each side. No middle support, it cannot hold anything heavy.-drawers are a little annoying, they will come off the rails pretty easily and it’s annoying trying to get them back in. If you don’t pull straight out, the drawers won’t open.

Nice Cabinet
The cabinet came with all the parts, nothing missing. Packaging was good. The instructions could be a bit more specific since there are so many pieces; however, if you follow them precisely, the end result is perfect. It’s sturdy and very handy for storage, and it certainly brightens up the room. I am retired, a grandmother and I put it together with no help.

Very nice cabinet, but needed some extra work
This is made of some nice quality wood. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it was not that easy to assemble for someone who owns and works in construction. Some of the pre-drilled holes did not line up which would have made it wobbly. The internal shelf was not very sturdy, but we were able to correct that with some upgrades (additional support and stronger board). The backing was also not very sturdy, so we replaced with some plywood. Don't get me wrong, this is a VERY nice cabinet. We just needed it a little more sturdy for what it was being used for.
