Fantastic little thing
Good:It's smaller than I was expecting, but I like it that way. I was worried it was going to be as big as the kmart lamp, which is huge. This lamp takes up about as much table space as a glass of water or a soda can.The burner and reservoir are light weight and look delicate at first but seem to be well made, but since I've only had it a few days I'd take that at face value. They sent me a free extra wick with my order.Bad (very petty problems):The chimney looks fragile but that might be my imagination. It does, however, have uneven rims on both sides, and prevents the chimney from sitting flush into the burner, but the tangs hold it tight enough that it doesn't rattle or shift unless you tip it over so not a real issue. If anything, it gives the impression that the glass was hand blown. The burner was screwed into the reservoir so tight I was worried I would ruin it trying to get it loose, or at least bend the chimney tangs out of shape.Other:The shipping looks expensive, but they don't tell you it gets you 2 day priority USPS, so at least you're not paying for a long wait even if amazon tells you otherwise. Check the tracker directly for a more accurate delivery estimate. The light leaves a star shape on the table because of the tangs that hold the chimney.I wish I had the right kind of fuel to put in it to start with. The distance between the wick and the fuel is too long for the wick to work well with vegetable or olive oil which are too viscous; in both cases the wick burns too fast and goes out in < 5 minutes. Even after the wick is cleaned and the oil is given 6 hours time to soak, the wick gets oil but not fast enough to maintain the flame. Works fine with store bought lamp oil.Still a great little lamp, and worth keeping and finding real lamp oil for instead of sending back.

Work well and look great
Some people stock flashlight and batteries others lamp oil, matches, and lamps. I do have batteries and flashlights, but in an emergency I use them to find my matches and lamps. These are decorations in my house and are important preps for emergency. These are well crafted and have not leaked. These work well.

Great little oil lamp
I have never owned an oil lamp before, but my grandmother had them all over the house in various forms and fashions and I always wanted a "real" one. It being a flammable item- I was always hesitant. But, after research, I found that a quality oil lamp can be safer than a burning candle and provide more light/ ambience. The seller includes additional wicks and instructions for proper lighting and care. After getting some quality lamp oil and lighting it the first time I could not be happier with this purchase for the money. It fits in well with my more "modern" decor- and because of its smaller footprint I can safely place it in various locations if I need to. I'd happily buy this as a gift and feel as though I gave them something of quality they'd believe I spent more money on than I did. Just don't forget a good lamp oil (not from your local retail giant).

Cute little oil lmao, very decorative and makes for fabulous ambiance!
Love this mini lamp! Makes for great ambiance! I have it on my porch and I love it! Just be careful because the glass is very thin and can break. I dropped it by accident, but I just went on their website and easily ordered another one :)

Cute
These look and work as advertised. Are small with small round wicks and produce a small flame. The produce enough light to serve as emergency backups - barely. But I like them. Look good as decorations when not in use. I had one problem with one of the three is that the knob would not engage the wick to turn it up or down. But I played with the knob by pushing it in and out and finally got it to engage. Now it turns the wick up and down.

Love it
Just what I expected. Do not expect this to give an extremely bright light (of course) since this thing is tiny but it does work well to illuminate a room with a nice warm soft light. If you are close to it and give your eyes some time to adjust you can even read with this. I'm thinking in using them to light up a bell tent i a remote area and I think they'll work quite well. The chimney is made of glass and is not "thin" or "thick" is just right. I don't think it's more fragile than any other glass chimney I've seen. The quality of the lamp itself seems to be quite good. I thought it would have a more cheaper feeling but it's well made. It came well packaged I would totally buy this again. For those saying it leaks, keep in mind you are only supposed to fill it below the top seam between the 2 sections of the tank(not all the way to the burner screw). Mi lamp does not leak at all ( I fill it below the top seam )

Definitely a mini
Bought this for my husband, he loved it except it’s soooo tiny! I wish it was a lot bigger, not an option. Very well made, I just don’t know why you’d want it this small. It’s cute. Like my daughter wants to use it for her American girl dolls! The “mini” part isn’t on the product main line only under description, 1 click got me. Anyways check out the pic to see. My husband doesn’t have huge hands, he can’t palm a basketball.
