Knipex electricians knife
Shipping was fast, next day delivered. My last electricians knife was a CK tools one. Probably not quite as sharp as this one but did have a locking mechanism on the handle which I think made it safer. But this is a great knife and great for any toolbox. I am impressed with how sharp it is to strip cables. I was at college when I had the CK one and my electrical installations tutor said it was crap but I still have it and got it in 2011 but it needs a good cleaning and sharpening. I use it for other jobs besides wire stripping so will use this one for wire stripping only.

It's better than most
Solid close mechanism, dulls family easily when stripping SWA, but they all do at this price point. I've had a couple and would have another for day to day.

Great pocket knife
Very handy pocket knife and wouldn't be without it at work as an electrician.Stiff closure at first, nearly took my fingers off until I got used to the snappy closure.Time will tell as to wether or not it stays sharp.

Knipex craftsmanship
High quality, but be aware as blade designed for delicate use.I boroughed to site manager and I received back with the bent tip.So I have to buy new one.I using just for light cutting task ,then wiring.

Use it correctly, it's a great little knife
Handy, well built knife. Doesn't have a locking mechanism, which would be a bonus, but use it correctly and you'll not unintentionally castrate yourself!

A bit of a let down
I try to buy Knipex if I can, but disappointed with this knife. The cutting angle is all wrong and it doesn’t hold an edge.
