Q: The way the toilet seat with handles is designed, is it easy to clean?

I'm going to purchase this and to overcome the cleaning issues between the bowel the the new riser, I'm going to use white GE Silicone and run a bead around the inside and the outside to overcome this obstacle and it will secure it down so it doesn't wobble when you move while sitting on it. When the time comes to remove it, simply use a razor knife to cut the beads and a scraper to clean off the rest and you are back to normal.

Q: The mounting bolts on my toilet are 5-1/2" center to center. Will this seat riser's mounting holes/slots match this dimention?

It will fit a standard bolt pastern. The problem is the fit on the front edge. On a gerber elingated toilet with a Bemis seat you cant tighten it enough to prevent the extender from swinging left and right. There is no real attachment like some others which have a positive mechanical adjustable clip but seem narrow between the arm supports.

Q: What are the dimensions, length, width; bolt center to center etc.?

The seat is 19" d. x 13-1/2" w. - the arms will add 6" to 8" to the width, depending on which position the arms are placed. The bolt center to center is 6". My commode wall width is 22-1/2", so I placed the arms in the narrow position. I had hip surgery and the elongated seat worked perfectly on my small elongated commode. Hope my answers help you.
