Nice
I use it to record vocals and works nicely and clear. Sound quality is good. Very high gain. Slight noise when handling. Looks good. The price is right. Good mic for beginners. Ordered another for my friend as a holiday gift.

VALUE!!!
Just got this mic in the mail yesterday, haven’t ordered a Pyle mic in about 10 or so years back when I was in highschool with very little money. But I knew they would deliver. For $14???? Thing sounds great, has a good weight and even comes with a shock mount!! I hooked it up to my volt 176 and am loving it so far. Pyle lowkey a hero for getting us through the hard times lol

Incredibly great value
Any Gen ˣ man knows the quality associated the top audio components because they used them to create ridiculously huge car and home stereo systems. Pyle is one of the top ten names if not top 5.

OK for the price.
At $14.99 it's a great deal but it's not a great microphone. It's just ok. You get a wind sock and there is a layer of yellow foam in the head basket. I would remove that foam because you don't need two layers. This would be a great donor mic if you wanted to make a better one. Take a look at JLI Electronics for some parts that you can use to build a decent microphone and save some money. Look at the OPA Alice circuit board and the DC/DC hex board along with some bypass capacitors and a new capsule. You can buy a cheap 34 mm capsule and spend less than $100 upgrading. You could spend a little bit more and get a better capsule but either way you'll have a pretty decent microphone. To my surprise the Pyle mic worked without phantom power. There is no cardioid pattern symbon on the front of the mic just some crooked graphics.

Poor documentation - requires 48v phantom power for audio interfaces. bad sound
I bought it on a whim since it was 10$. Sounds OK but I'm glad my audio interface had 48v phantom power or I would have been out of luck. The documentation doesn't mention that at all.Edit: checked recording - sounds awful...like underwater and choppy awful. :( I tossed the box or I would return it.

Dont hesitate good quality
Sounds clean tone is bright and flat picks up a bit of background noise but not bad

Good quality but make sure you know what you need
It works great and does what I needed. Cat hasn't broken it yet so its sturdy. I will say it doesn't come with a stand or the phantom power it needed. I hear that is typical for this kind of mic. I just wasn't aware of that. Also no mute button.
