We liked this so much we bought it again. We use it to make elderberry syrup. We've used it to cook in the instant pot as well as on the stove. These dried berries are high quality and help our elderberry syrup come out great.

I get sick every winter with either bronchitis or asthma complications. My daily prescriptions do not prevent this. I heard that elderberries are great for strengthening immune systems. I do not drink it everyday, but a few times a week with a little honey because I love honey in my tea. I bought a teapot from Amazon that holds about 2 1/2 cups fo water. It has a sturdy mesh filter for loose tea. It holds the dried elderberries perfectly. I use two tsps in the mesh filter. So far it has not failed me with sickness this year. I hope I continue to stay healthy becausse this seasonal thing from October to February wears a person down. The directions are also on the back of the bag it comes in. I do empty the berries into a airtight container so they keep. Why not try and see if it helps others.

These dried elderberries make great tea. I brew a cup every night - add little honey and Enjoy. Highly Recommend. Super flavorful and I love the clean ingredients.

I usually buy my herbs and berries from a wholesale company but these were significantly cheaper. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of them. Will definitely reorder!

WOW! I don't know about all the stated health benefits, but this stuff smells Great while cooking... So I have my little stove/fireplace keeping me warm in my live in RV. I put a coffee camp percolator on the stove with the Elderberries in it, and as it slowly got up to temp, so did the wonderful aroma! My Gosh! This place smelled like grandma had been cooking blueberry muffins all afternoon in here! After I heard the water boiling for about 20 min, I took a spoonful of the Elderberries out... MY GOSH! They were soft and tender just as stated on the package. And the flavor wasn't as bitter as I expected, just a slight bitter taste as you might expect from a berry. Now the real treat... I mixed some of the Elderberry with my home made milk Kiefer, hit it up with a tad blueberry flavor, and dear reader, let me tell you what! The flavor was/is out of this world! The berries I ate within two days and the complete yield when balanced with water left 2- 750ml bottles full of juice! This stuff is GREAT! I should say too, this was my first experience with Elderberries. Didn't have anything to compare it too other than if it taste good or not. Well let me say, the taste and smell are outstanding. I bought these Elderberries because my usual berries weren’t available at time of purchase. These taste different than those, taste ISNT horrible but not what I expected. There was a lot more stems than my original brand. I make syrup with them, and even the berries smelled off.. more funkier than I’m used too. I don’t think elderberries smell good as it is, but these didn’t smell quite right. I’m not sure if there is a difference between the brands I bought but I’m not sure if I’ll be buying this brand again.
