I got the grill box this weekend and I bought some lean burgers to grill and here’s a few things I noticed:The grill box is very sturdy and the grill itself is all cast-iron. It’s kind of a heavy grill and I feel it”ll last for 3 generations. The box itself is made of a metal that is pretty strong but it’s not cast iron so don’t listen to the negative reviews about it as it’s still pretty good next to the cast iron grill. The under grill part of the box is designed to evaporate the dripping grease back into your food, well it works. I had to clean out the bottom of the box still but it wasn’t bad at all. Over all I love this grill especially that the meat did not hardly stuck at all to the grill. You can re-season the cast iron grill if you want to before use as you should re-season it any way at least once a month which will keep the non-stick surface. But the grill in the box is ready for use right away. I feel all in all this is a great buy.

I bought the Camp Chef BBQ to use on my Camp Chef 2 burner cook top. I also have the combination griddle, grill. The bbq box is great for when we are camping. It makes great steaks, hamburgers and other food. The size is great for our family, and what’s better is it is small enough to store easily in our trailer. I have the camp chef carry bags which makes it easy to store and keep clean. The one thing that you have to watch out for is that due to the gas burner being below the bbq, you do get flare ups while cooking so you need to keep a spray bottle with water to spray when these occurs. But this is not a big problem if you pay attention. I strongly recommend buying the bbq box.

This is great for quick grilling for two to four people (maybe 6 but crowded).Didn't put 5 stars because there are two things that I don't like:1) it takes a lot to warm up.2) if you don't use the lid it takes a while to cook.Other than that is very practical and an excellent complement for my single burner stove.I recommend.Buy a grill thermometer, it's very useful with this grill (is like a disc that goes directly in the grill).Amazon as always delivered very in a excellent package and on time!

I purchase this grill to use with my 20 year old Camp Chef two burner stove. I am very pleased on how well it grills, food has a lot of flavor. It looks like the Camp Chef stove has changed and gotten a little bigger since I purchased mine, it is advertised to fit all of their stoves but it doesn't fit perfectly on my old stove. Mine is a little smaller than the current generation of stoves that Camp Chef puts out, but it still works fine. I will probably purchase a single burner stove from Camp Chef to do all my grilling with this item later on but for now it will do just fine with my old stove.My only complaint is that the grill doesn't have handles on the lower section of the grill so you have to wait for it to cool down before removing it from the stove if you need use the burner it's on to cook other item's. Other than that, I think it's a great item.

The only thing that I didn’t care for was the long shipping time.

When I received this item the box had aftermarket tape. When I opened the box black grit was loose inside. The handle had scratches and seemed it had hand/palm prints on the metal. Plus there was a dent on that metal. All in all these are minor if the stove works as advertised. Until I use it it will get 3 stars for now.

I'm kind of surprised, but this has been the best gas grill I have ever used. It produces a lot of smoke off the diffuser plate if you leave the lid on while cooking and the flavor has been great. Clean up is easy. The only negative you might have is it is single burner so direct heat only, no indirect option and the heat is pretty even across the cast iron grate. Turning the gas down should give pretty close to indirect heat with the diffuser
