Gosu Toys Atlantis Sand Box Set 6 Colors (Green, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Orange, Purple)

This was great hydrophobic sand. Relative to what's available on amazon and elsewhere, this seems to currently the best deal in the category of colored hydrophobic sand. However, 2 pounds of sand, especially when a 3 and 5 year old are playing with it doesn't go a long way. The package lasted us for 2 uses. The beauty of hydrophobic sand is that you can sift it/dry it and re-use it, the down side of using colored sand is that now it's all mixed up. My littles wouldn't touch again because part of the fun was using different colors, but if your kids are older, they can probably continue to re-use it. To clarify, the colors mixed up together are not as beautiful as you'd hope. We had no issues with the said, a few grains would float away on their own, most of it sank like you'd expect - but to be clear, that's what it's all supposed to do.

We used this as part of our homeschooling science curriculum. It was a big hit! My son really loves playing with it and he wrote down his observations and hypothesis about why and how it works. Really great kit with lots of sand in many vibrant colors. It can get a little messy- it's sand and water- so no surprise there, but nothing awful. I am looking forward to playing with this again! I remember it from my childhood. Back then there were these very cool sets with faux coral reef in a small tank and the sand came in squeeze bottles- so I am going to put our new sand in squeeze bottles to play with next time. Really great, fun, education friendly product!

Sand works as described. Reminded us of years ago. My granddaughter was very confused and excited as to how when she put her hand in water and pulled sand out it was dry had lots of fun with it. Nice colors and good amount of each. Only thing we missed was not having the squeeze bottles instead of jars and a wider tank . This comes with a tall jar. Nice that it also came with a strainer which works very well to take sand out of water. I will find a little tank somewhere and bottles for sand. But it definitely works! But it’s a hit! Highly recommend

Not the biggest fan but it was okay. Wont be buying more tho. Colors were pretty but didnt really work as good as i was expecting. Thats fine tho. It was worth the try.

This will definitely be an outdoor summer activity at our house. A little to messy for my liking with my kids in the house. They are also not the neat when it comes tothis type of activity either though. It wasn't to hard to get all the water out of the sand at all.

Easy open containers, colorful product, great feel. The kid loves these.

Great way to change things up a bit. My son really enjoyed watching the sand change in water. It was a fun way to introduce him to science and added a little sensory bonus. I recommend using a bigger bowl than what is provided, and sand does take a long time to dry, so we pour it on a paper towel and leave it out for a bit.
