Fun!
This game is super fun! The concept is so simple so it's easy for little people to learn but it's fun enough to play as an adult!

Fun game
I bought this game for a friend's son. He really liked it but like former reviews it is very difficult to see the potion ingredients though the wand unless you have very good light. We had a good time playing the game anyway.

Horrible instructions, poor design, wands are USELESS!!!
My daughter and I love playing board/card games and were very excited to try this game but it's impossible to play. The instructions are horrendous and make very little sense. The plastic "wands" you're suppose to use to find the hidden ingredients for your potion are completely useless. It's impossible to see them, out of 6 people trying to see them no one was able to see more than 1!!! We tried different kinds of light but nothing worked. I will say the board is nice looking but it's going back for return no question.... Save yourself the headache and buy something else.

Good concept, mediocre execution
The game concept is easy to learn, and offers good repeated play. 9 year old was engaged during her turn, but there is no cooperative or competitive aspect, so she tended to wander between turns. The game needs more play testing; the wands use a “magic eye” element that is VERY hard to see. Pressing down on the lens helped a bit. Play area needs to be very well lit. The instructions need to be better play tested. The ingredients list is alphabetical, except for 2 random items. Some ingredient names on the checklist don’t match the corresponding name on the potion cards.Overall grade, C+
