Q: Is this bag durable for professionals who take the bus?

Yes. My wife takes the bus to work daily. Nice size and good quality.

Q: What is the weight of this bag when empty?

its quite heavy, I haven't weighed it, but to be honest I am disappointed with it as in the first few uses the popper holding the two handles together came off, and the telescopic handle only stays at 2 heights, at the top or the next one down and they are always falling down, and I haven't used it much as I only work 2 or 3 days a week

Q: I am unable to drive but have an injured shoulder making bags difficult to wear. I like the rolling design but is it worth the price?

I tried two of these and both were faulty as handle would not stay locked in place when wheeling. Not sure if a manufacturing fault of design flaw but wasn't prepared to try a third replacement.

Q: Would a 17inch laptop fit in this bag?

Probably - mine is 14" and there is plenty of room left. Great case, very sturdy, worth the investment.
