Doom Slayers Collection - PlayStation 4 Standard Edition

Looking to add to my physical media to my game collection and this fit the bill. Great price and gives you four awesome Doom games. Perfect addition to my growing collection.

So I sat down to play the first Doom game in the series, cuz I'm gonna start at the beginning and work my way through every game. Gonna be epic right? Well Doom is a very fast game and the first two games when your character moves he inadvertently bobs up and down.After playing about 10 minutes I couldn't figure out why I was feeling nauseous. At about 15 minutes I had to get up and barf in the sink. "Hmm, very strange," I thought. "Could it be from the motion in the game?" So in true genius fashion, to test my theory, I set a timer and started playing again. And who would have guest? At the 7 minute mark I was back at the sink blowing chunks. Classic! So to further prove my point I talked my awesome Wife into playing it. She only played for about 30 seconds and said "yeah I can see why that would make you sick," looked at me like I was a moron and left the room. Mission accomplished! Worth every penny.

I was VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED that the original doom games were dlc an not included like on doom 3 on xbox360. Nonetheless a great gory game. Story is awesome so are graphics but I wish there was more cursing but all well. Nostalgic too

The combat in DOOM 2016 is impeccable with locations and challenges that can be difficult but not insurpassable. Every map in the game is arena-like and offers fast paced gamplay while still feeling perfectly normal and almost like they're real locations in their own universe. There's plenty of replay value and the snapmap feature offers an endless amount of new maps.The other 3 games are also pretty goodDoom 3 is very unusual as it tried to be a horror game.Doom 2 and Ultimate Doom are wonderful classic games and the pair combined are amazing with Ultimate Doom offering maps that are just as fun on the 3rd playthrough and Doom 2 offers more monsters with a bunch of interesting challenges. They all have mod support offered by Bethesda and even have a refreshing new UI, quicksave/load option, and a cheat code option worked in in the off chance you're bored of the usual game play.

It's 2020 and I still have to download all the patches for Doom 2016? 32 gb worth. What a joke. I wanted the complete game. Beware if you have slow internet. This is more like a bare bones vanilla collection. I would of just downloaded the game if I knew that. Kind of defeats the purpose. Also, the the rebate is for purchases made before 4/30/2020. A week ago. Nice little cherry on top.

I was playing the shareware version of Doom off of 3.5 in disks on 386 clone pcs before it was popular. I've always said that the older versions of Doom were better until now...Sad that I work so much it took me seven years after release to try it but I couldn't believe how good it was seriously.
