It works well and looks good, but I was disappointed that it was plastic, not glass. I realize that it never says it's glass, but as a baker that owns quite a few cloches, this was the first plastic one I've ever purchased.

This dome lid itself isn’t perfectly flat so expect lots of leakage and expect to apply considerable force to the top to create a good seal. The dome grommet is ok, preformed better than expected but still has some flaws. Would rate 5 if the lid was flat all the way around. It sits on my counter top and you can visibly see gaps.TIP: place your item you desire to smoke on plastic wrap, place lid on top and pull the wrap up to seal off.

Perfect dome for smoking foods with a smoker gun. My family loves the flavors I can infus into various foods, and this dome makes just that much easier and faster.

Good size for lowball glasses or a plate with food. Using a towel under the dome or several surfaces did not help to keep the smoke inside the dome. It leaked from the bottom and dissipated quicker than expected.

This dome works very well for smoking drinks or plates of food. For example a plate of charcuterie. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because there’s some cracking around the hole that the hose from the smoker goes into.
