This is a bit of overkill to light one ornament but Hallmark doesn’t give you any choice. Why they don’t include a plug with the ornament to begin with is puzzling.

Works like you expect...
I've been a collector of the Halmark ornaments for better than 30 years.. back when you actually pulled a bulb from the tree lights to power the "magic" features. Batteries came along and they worked well as long as you removed them at the end of Christmas. this new system works well.. but it would be nice to have an add on feature for a few more ornaments. This system works as expected. no surprises.

Pricey but Hallmark quality
This is great for the higher-end ornaments from Hallmark, I started buying the ones that needed the power adapter without realizing it, and needed another adapter. However, this is unobtrusive, works fine, just a little expensive for what it is.

What makes it nice is you can add ornaments to the power stream.

Love the Star Trek set! my son surprised me with it as a Christmas gift! He didn't purchase the power cord though because he thought he had to buy 5 which would have been over $100 more. Pity the salesperson didn't properly explain how the system worked.It is a fun gift.
