This is a reorder. I don't use buttermilk that often or a full quart when I do. Having this powder on hand make it easy to make cornbread at the last minute, though it is better when made and refrigerated a few hours earlier or longer. It can be placed in a recipe as powder with dry ingredients for baking and water added separately with wet ingredients, but I don't think results are as good. I don't drink it plain but have tasted it and it tasted fine.

The buttermilk powder adds extra flavor to my pastry items. Gives it an extra bit of fluffiness. I use it in most of my cakes and cookies. And any recipe that calls for buttermilk.

I bought this because I don't buy buttermilk often and when I do I'm usually left with a lot and then I have to figure out what to do to with the rest of it. Anyway, this solves that issue for me. I make only as much as I need and can bring it with me on our camping trips. No issues so far and great product!

I don't use it often, so it's good it has a long shelf life. Easy to mix with water.

I use it when I make cornbread. Then I don't have to keep unused liquid buttermilk in the fridge. Works great.
