I've never tried a raw honey I didn't like, and this is no exception. It's a nice treat to get it in the honeycomb and very delicious.I agree with some of the other reviews that said it takes a minute to get it open. It comes in a plastic container with a lid you can pull off. The lid has transparent tape sealing the edges. The tape is hard to see and doesn't come off in one strip. I got it off in about 3 minutes or so by scraping the tape all around the opening. Once you do that, you can just gently pull off the lid.I'm not really complaining though, as too much of a seal is so much preferable than too little. I would guess this is packaged in Turkey where their bee colony is, so that helps to avoid spillage as they send it out all over the world. It would be a shame to look forward to getting this yummy honey and have it spill in shipping.This is perfect to cut of a little piece and have with my morning coffee. I don't usually eat the beeswax but you can if you want. I just cut of a piece, put it all in my mouth and just enjoy the honey. When the honey's all gone in my mouth, I just discard the beeswax like chewing gum.The honey is a very golden and semi-transparent. It has a lot of the look and taste of local wildflower honey. Even though it's from Turkey, it reminds me of some of the honey I get locally in southwestern US. This is a small container and I purchased it for $5.99. I noticed today it's selling for $6.99. I thought for the $5.99 price I paid, it was a good value.

I've been dying to try honeycomb for months and finally settled on one that had good reviews, but wasn't super expensive. Honestly I'm impressed with the quality for the price; seems like you get a decent amount and the container seems sturdy (and was even wrapped in plastic to avoid leak issues). The flavor is very light but decadent at the same time (it's incredibly sweet without feeling like you're eating a literal spoonful of sugar). The wax is nice to chew on for a minute and really reminds me of those wax juice bottle candies I loved when I was little. I will definitely buy again in the future.The only con (and it's not really even anything that can be helped), is that the container is very sticky from the tape they use to keep it sealed, and honey inevitably gets trapped there as you're dishing some out making it even stickier.

Received this today. It was packaged in the regular amazon prime bag that most things come in. Half of the honey had leaked out all in the bottom of the bag. I was able to get it cleaned up and was able to save some of it. I purchased for the honey comb to use for a social studies project and didn’t have time to return and get a new one. I will have to make this one work! Seller may want to think about a different method of shipping. The item looked just like it was supposed to. I tasted a bit of the honey and it was good.

Super yummy. Only eat a little chunk at a time unless you want to drown in honey like I did the first bite. About the size of a soap bar but trust me, that's enough. Keep in mind that you have to chew the wax and spit it out (unless you're able to/ want to swallow it, which I do not) lol. Yummy little treat though! Everybody seems to complain about it being hard to open and I definitely opened it within like 30 seconds of getting it, so I don't know why people have trouble with it. Just peel the wrapping off and pop the lid off. Not difficult.

The wax comes out yellow after you ingest the honey from the comb. Which may be bee pollen. (Which is supposedly good for you.) I was hoping for the weird popping sounds you get from the YouTube ASMR videos of honeycomb, but no.It's a piece of honeycomb. Weight is what is advertised. But, that IS SMALLER than your mind would lead you to believe it is. the whole piece is kinda thin and fits into your open hand.So, is it what I ordered, yes. Is it in the condition I expected it to be in, not so much.Probably won't order it again.(I was so disappointed when I went to open the box and there was honey all over it.)

I love having honey when I just want something sweet, so the eating it by the honeycomb was a really fun experience. It was really sweet so id be carefuly if youre taking a bite out of it like me. The wax was annoying to get rid of but it was really good nonetheless!

My kid found it (scales the kitchen cabinets like Edmund Hillary) the day after and straight up ate half of it- I only found out when she told me her stomach hurt and why she thought that was .... 🙄 geeezis. So I don’t have a rating for value/uses I got out of it ... it was supposed to be used with a cake but the half that was left ended up going in my teas. Tasted wonderful, and the kid learned a lesson hopefully.
