Max1 Distribution responded immediately to a concern I have with one of my Kobalt batteries - one of my batteries charged as expected with the new charger but another, when inserted correctly in the charger, shows a steady green light (which should indicate a full charge) but does not charge or operate my mower. Although I did not purchase the battery from them, Max1 has offered to inspect the battery to figure out the issue. Very much appreciated!

Charge!
It charges my 40v Kobalt battery that came with my tool as well as the 40v battery that I purchased from Amazon. One is charging while I'm using the other and then I switch them out.

that it didn't work and i have tried to return it with no luck??
I dislike the fact it didn't work!! it didn't do it's job and recharge the battery!! i have been trying to get a hold of whom ever i can to return the Kobalt item because it didn't work!! Can you heip me with that or not!

Beware! You MUST press the battery down hard or you'll think it's dead on arrival (an easy fix).
I learned a hard lesson with this one. I purchased it because my original charger failed to do anything after one season of storage. Having read quite a few bad reviews I was apprehensive that the whole kit (blower and charger) might be junk, but I thought I'd tried my luck anyway. And when I got it, as with the other reviewers, it appeared to be dead-on-arrival, just like the one that I was replacing. But this made me suspicious, so I continued fiddle around with it to try to make it wok. Finally when I pushed the battery down HARD onto the charger, it worked fine! Then I tried the same with my original charger and it worked fine too! I didn't need this one at all, so I returned it (at the cost of having to pay for the return shipping). I feel bad for the many reviewers who gave it one star because they probably just didn't discover the solution. This charger works fine, except that you have to be careful to press the battery down firmly onto the charger to make it work, so it loses one star due to this problem.

Battery charger
I got this to replace my husband's original leaf blower charger from 8 yrs ago. Although it is slightly different, the battery slipped right in and the charge was phenomenal. In 8yrs, our leaf blower never had that excellent of a charge. I would recommend this to anyone
