Great quality and value for money
Bought for my E-Class (W211). Trawled the web and this was by far the cheapest at c.£16. This is really well made and fitted perfectly by removing 4 screws. The icing on the cake was that there was a pair of gloves included to keep your hands clean fitting - really nice touch... Fitted in 5 minutes as I had the headlight assembly out of the car. The headlight fired up immediately and I was really pleased with the result Would highly recommend.

Seems excellent
Initial impressions very good, just as well made as the original and the light fired straight up in the p12 Nissan Primera that had the fault. Excellent fit and nicely packaged in a proper electronics bag within the box. The original lasted 20 years so let's see what happens with this one!

Failed soon after
Purchased 2 less than a year ago and both units have now failed. Wasted money buying and paying for installation. Better buy used proper Hella ones. From outside, box looks like original but inside box electronics is not same as original.

It's been fitted for a week so far - and all good.
I thought the bulb had gone in my R171 Mercedes SLK - but it wasn't the bulb it was the ballast. Expecting the worst, I searched for a replacement, and this part number matched. It did need a little jiggle to fit in, whereas the old one just slid in (they looked identical mind you) - and has so far been providing my illumination all week. If anything changes I'll come back and update my review.

Worth a gamble
Some bad reviews but i took a chance. Had this fitted since end of December as i could get it quickly with prime. Was a lot cheaper than genuine ones & has lasted travelling to & from work in the dark everyday (70miles).

Good replacement part
This product is a direct replacement for the oem unit. It's exactly the same size & thickness. It is screwed to the base of the headlight & once retaining are moved is easy to install.Overall great value for money.
