Needed a small bottle for a pop-up flexible kennel that we use to transport our cats from Pennsylvania to Florida and back. This kennel was also purchased from Amazon and we like it very much. The problem is the sides are soft and putting a bowl of water in the back for long trip just wasn't feasible. Here's a tip for any of you considering this. We placed a cake cooling rack on the outside of the kennel and zip tied it to the mesh. Then we cut a small hole at the bottom of the mesh and past the water straw through it. It's solved the problem of feeding them without it spilling and keeping the bottle upright for the entire trip.

This worked perfect! I have an 8 month old cavapoo that instantly took to it on day one! I put a dollop of peanut butter on the spout and he took it from there. It’s been a godsend when I have to leave my home and crate him…I never have to worry about leaving him out so he can have access to fresh water while I’m away. It hasn’t leaked at all… but for the sake of my hardwood floors and a piece of mind…I placed a tea towel directly under it on the outside of the crate just in case, and so far it has been leak proof as advertised. The bottle holds just enough water to keep your small dog hydrated. I recommend this product and give it 5 stars!

Choco has the best bottles. I have tried so many other brands and they do not last 6 months or some of them leak from the very beginning. I finally found Choco bottles for all my animals. I ordered two for my rabbits and two for my little dog. It is so much easier for her to drink out of the travel bottle (which has a cap and does not leak). Her other bottle is on a stand with a Choco water bowl and food dish underneath. (BTW. I am not getting paid for this review). This dog water bottle truly changed my life! I know that sounds dramatic, but I mean it. My 7-year-old basset hound loves water. Unfortunately, every time he drank, he’d gulp too quickly and vomit after. Cleaning up those messes was exhausting, so I turned to Amazon for a solution.Thankfully, I found this water bottle - and it’s been a game-changer! It has completely resolved my dog’s vomiting issues. It’s super easy to refill, doesn’t leak, and works like a charm.The only minor downside was the setup. Installing it on the wall was tricky. The bottle didn’t fit in my dog’s kennel, but that wasn’t a dealbreaker since he doesn’t sleep there. I tried using multiple nails to mount it, but the bottle kept sagging. In the end, I used a Command strip, which works but makes a loud noise when my dog drinks. That’s a small inconvenience I can overlook, though.I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a dog that vomits after drinking water. It’s been a lifesaver for us!

These water bottles are FABULOUS and I love them. No leaking!! I do cat rescue/TNR. I use these water bottles on traps and recovery crates. The cats are pretty smart and adapt to drinking from a a nozzle almost immediately.Easy to refill the water bottle (if needed) and snap back on without having to open the crate door (cats are escape artists).I also use these bottles in the wire cat towers when I'm adopting out kittens at PetCo adoption events. Great product for my rescue needs.

Our cat is almost 7 years old and at this point she has pretty fixed habits and personality. Not many cats like chage anyway. A younger cat might be easier to introduce this to and make it a normal activity. Maybe this works for other pet owners, but our cat was not at all interested. She loves flowing water to drink from the faucet, and this item wasn't close enough to qualify for her. She tilts her head to lap at the running water and it's easily accessible. She doesn't have to think about it or work to hard. It's a treat for her and she loves the routine of the times we turn it on and off for her. Whether or not we introduced it to her well she didn't respond to it. I can't speak much to its longevity because she doesn't touch it. I think the spout/ball part worked, but it isn't comparable enough to running water to count. If a product fails to fulfill its goal due to lack of interest from the intended target, it fails for us. It wasn't bad, but neither was it great. Therefore a 3 for being mid.

This is a great for my teacup chihuahua puppy! It is versatile, sturdy and can go anywhere in his pen. Doesn’t leak or spill (which is why I bought it). He had a habit of spilling anything in his bowl making a big mess everyday. The dish is perfect for the same reason. Definitely a great product!

I use these in my dachshunds' crates so that they have water available overnight. Puppies learn to use them easily as they explore their surroundings. To teach adults to use it, I just put a dab of peanut butter on the tip. I do use a snapy-fit dog bowl under the water bottle in case it drips, but really, the dripping is minimal.
