The best of the best, at least I think so
I've tried several other brands of Katsu sauce and this is by far my favorite.I know some people don't like the flavor, but the trick is good meat and light sauce. It's not meant to smother anything, simply compliment it. There's a lot of Worcestershire sauce in it which gives it the unique flavor.My favorite is a country fried steak on top of fine shredded cabbage, drizzled with this sauce. It's great with breaded pork chop the same way too!Mixed with some American BBQ sauce adds a bit of bite and a unique dipping sauce for steak fries or nuggets.

best value for money
I usually buy Bulldog brand katsu sauce, but it's been getting more expensive lately, so I decided to give kikkoman a try and I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the same exact taste as the Bulldog brand, but it's not trying to be. The sauce has some notes of clove and maybe cinnamon(?) that is a little unexpected but gives it its own unique taste that is still delicious while retaining the original "essence" of good katsu sauce. Bulldog is still my favorite brand, but this is a good alternative for when Bulldog is out of stock or too expensive.

Katsu Heaven!
Drove all around to the local grocery stores even the store that used to carry a small bottle of this Katsu sauce and they no longer do. I don’t get these stores so as I always do as I just did another review of an item I could no longer find in a local store, I just go to Amazon. Amazon has it in a big jug so now I can make chicken Katsu anytime I want and have the sauce to dip it in. The sauce keeps well in the fridge too.This is great sauce. Highly recommend this product!

Runny
This tasted good but I'm so used to certain other brand of Tonkatsu sauce so this one seemed too runny and flavor was a bit too light. I ended up using much more of the sauce to get the same punch.

My family loves this sauce! This is the best price value for large families. Easy to store in the fridge and delicious.

Hard to find these days
We cannot find this sauce just anywhere. This Chicken katsu over rice is better than the restaurant. You can use breaded or grilled chicken they are both delicious
