Good
One broke early on, they are very thin and light, and consequently a bit delicate. If you are looking for that sort of thing, and there really is something good to say about it, this is it. Probably not optimal if you have kids.Wish they made thick glasses, I'd buy a ton.

good quality
We have the smaller tumblers, and were excited to see these simple and elegant glasses in the larger size. They're lightweight, which is important as one gets older and looses finger strength. Although the glass is thin, it is not fragile or brittle. Actually it is quite durable.

Beautiful but useless
I really wanted to love these glasses but they are super thin and if you can believe it they will get a small hole at the side on the bottom! A stream of liquid will quickly empty your glass.

The PERFECT light yet strong drinking glass!
Ever since I discovered borosilicate glass is so superior, strong and light compared to the bulky heavy standard cheap soda-lime glass - I can no longer stand drinking glasses of that old style soda-lime. Soda-lime glass is heavy, bulky, and just seems kludgy by comparison. When I first learned about borosilicate (used for lab beakers and equipment) 10-20 years ago, it was not widely available for consumer drinkware - I actually found a company that manufactured beakers and convinced them to make me some glassware from their borosilicate tubes. The thickness of borosilicate does vary, and the set they made me was still a little TOO thick and sturdy. Then I round CB2 carries a line of borosilicate drinkware, which is ultra thin - and I've bought about 20-30 glasses from them over the years (why so many? because they are TOO delicate, I would shatter them regularly from a 2 inch drop into the sink when they slip out of my hands while washing!).When I came across this Borosil listing - I was excited to order a set - and they turned out to be the PERFECT halfway point between the two previous types - not as delicate and thin as CB2's, but not as heavy as the lab glass I'd had custom made. I totally LOVE these light, yet strong glasses. Also, since they are made of the same material as lab glass, I can heat up water for tea in one, or pop it in the freezer, without any concern.
