Blades stay sharp practically forever
I ended up just trying these blades cause the store was out of the Gillette equivalent. I will say these blades stay sharp well after the lubricating strips have stopped. I like the Schick Extreme MUCH BETTER than the Gillette's. I now have ordered these whenever I know I'm down to my last two blades and will do so from now on. Try them yourself and I believe you will switch too. Another benefit I noticed too, is practically no nicks or cuts.

Great cheap alternative to Gillette Fusion, Schlick Hydro, Venus
(Am a female) These blades are average quality, they last me roughly 4-5 shaves, 7 tops. So I usually go through 6 blades per month. They offer a very close shave, and are a super value for the money. They don’t cause any skin issues for me. I’d still use these now if the price hadn’t gone up to $17 for 8 replacement blades.
