Useful for a cholecystostomy drain
I use this for a cholecystostomy drain and not for a feeding tube. I mainly bought this because I was having an allergic reaction to tape being used to hold down 4 x 4 gauze pads to surround my drainage tube. This is not too tight around the tube. I was nervous about using these because I have a stitch holding the drainage tube in, but all of these pads are stitched very well around the center. They are also very soft on my skin. I use two small pieces of tape to hold it down. The snap is small, but it is easy to open and close. After 12 hours I do have some drainage leak onto the pad and have found them easy to hand wash with some dish soap. If it is quite soiled I will spray some clorox on it to clean it better. I then let them hang dry.

These work very well as a gtube cover
They are the right size and they are very soft on the skin as opposed to split sponges. They also absorb well and keep moisture away from the skin. I actually have them on subscribe and save.

Perfect !!
If you have a PEG tube for enteral feeding and don't use these, I would ask why not ? They are superior to having to cut any bandage or use the bulky split pads with any tape . These wash up well and dry quickly. I used these for five and half months. They are durable and can be reused after scrubbing and hand washing many times. Great value for the dollar. There is a companion pouch with elastic/velcro closure that completes the whole process of storage and protection.(Core Products NelMed G-Tube Holder/Feeding Tube Holder) These 2 products used together are the perfect solution !!!

Much needed skin break from having to use tape. Easy to apply and remove
They do what they are supposed to. We used these for my moms feeding tube. It was nice because they didnt require tape like the gauge does so it allowed her skin to have a break from that. The only down fall to these is that if it gets wet around the feeding tube site it dried making material very hard and would irritate her skin. Needs to be changed no later than about 10 hrs.

Overpriced
In all fairness I purchased these to wrap around a suprapubic catheter. I found them quite expensive compared to the small pads I bought in bulk at Costco to remove fingernail polish which I just cut half way and make small triangle in the middle which work great and more cost effective for me.

Amazing
Absolutely love this and will be recommending it to patients. They're soft and are a little cushiony as well. Perfect fit and the snap will keep it where it's put unlike the fenestrated dressings (which have their uses). 100% would buy again.

These work great!
These pads are easy to use around the peg tube. I particularly like the snaps as they hold the pad in place therefore reducing inflammation. The pads are easy to wash and reuse.

Noticably more comfortable than the usual square gauze
I bought them for the shape (round with a slit for the tube). UPDATE: I've added two "stars" because I'm finding that these are 1. noticeably more comfortable than the usual (square) gauze; these are thicker and softer and 2. the shape helps it stay in place MUCH better (and the snaps work well), and 3. these need less tape and that means less irritation for my skin from the tape being pulled off.
