BTS: K-Pop Power! (Y) Hardcover – Illustrated, March 3, 2020

This book is very poorly edited and a lot of photos are mislabeled. The editors really did not seem to know who the members are. Very disappointing.

We love BTS! My kids ages 17 down to 8 all love their music. Their talent, work ethic, philanthropic efforts and uplifting message are inspiring.I thought this would be a fun surprise for my daughter for her 10th birthday. Nope! The publisher seemed to do little to no research when putting together this book. Most of it is just recycled facts you can find on the internet, some not even accurate.My biggest complaint is that there seemed to be a problem identifying the members correctly. Photos of Jimin and Yoongi were only accurately labeled about 30% of the time. I don’t know if this was because someone was too lazy to put the right face with the right name or if that person just decided that all Korean people look alike and it didn’t matter. Either way, it’s not good!

On Suga’s pages his birthday has a picture of J-Hope and the larger of the “taped” pictures is Jimin. On pg. 34 it uses the same photo, yet labels it correctly. On Jimin’s pages the smaller of the “taped” pictures is Suga. On Jung-Kook’s pages, the larger of the “taped” photos have 3 boys on it, Jin, J-Hope, and Suga. That picture doesn’t even INCLUDE Jung-Kook. Also, in the upper right corner, says “By just 15, Jung-Kook had debuted with BTS. The picture in the box isn’t from their debut (2013) and the picture was from 2017.

"Unofficial" is correct. They didn't even proof read the pictures *insert face palm here*. They've mixed up the pictures of the members in MANY different places and have incorrect information throughout. Just don't waste your money!

They messed up so bad on the pictures; they kept mistaking Suga and Jimin, and then they messed up on the group picture on Jungkook’s bio—JK was NOT in that group picture!

This book is not accurate in identifying the band members. The publisher needs to pull this book.
