Works as Advertised
There was a fault with the first item i received, but the vendor replaced it quickly with no argument. Very helpful in fact. I like the design, and recommend the product. I would buy a second and from the same vendor. From a UK perspective, the output sockets are not as safe as a normal, the design is to allow multiple standards to use the socket and as a result there are no shutters on the contacts. I prefer to put a child protector in when not in use. Also, it is not necessarily a bad thing but the outputs are floating; this is an unbonded inverter, so the neutral and the live are both at high voltage. This is 'normal' for generators, and often considered preferable in some applications for safety, but it is important to understand how to do the wiring in your application, particularly if you are imagining connecting it in some way to an existing 240V installation. Also as a point of information, it is only the difference between live and neutral which is a sine wave: relative to a local ground the shapes on them individually are not at all sinusoidal, there are large transients. (I think this is a way to keep costs down). It will not affect operation of equipment unless there is a fault condition.

A great inverter that did what it needed to do!
This product was affordable, and worked treat.Inverters are great but please note that you need to understand how some appliances work and that you need more capacity than what the appliances requires to get them started. Also that the car cigarette socket only goes unto about 150w so you need ether a direct fed to the battery or some extra batteries just to power the inverter. We did a 3 hour carnival using a tractor battery and didn't even show signs of a low battery.

Very good, usb seems to be 500ma, but overall better than expected
I have used this a few times now, I run a fridge, mac, and other small electronics, I haven't seen it even get warm much tbh. I also tested it out cutting some wood with a jigsaw, no problems, I've had an oppurtunity to test the fault mode a few times, so you can short it to your hearts content as far as I'm concerned. I have a cheap 150w version I purchased elsewhere, and despite a similar appearance this one is significantly better, the plastic is higher quality, more precisely made. The metal case is thicker and not wonky. So overall I would say it's exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy. One minor irritaiton is the usb seems to only be 500ma? Basically just maintains the battery on my phone rather than charging.

Compact and quiet with pure sine
This unit is compact in comparison to many inverters of this capacity, with a automatic cooling fan that only kicks in when needed. This unit powers my 240v SkyQ box and charges our electric bike batteries without a problem or triggering the cooling fan.

total rubish
Totally useless, not as described, maximum continuous power output is well below 500w, struggles to run 130w fridge. seller lying about outputs

Excellent units and a good price for pure sinewave
Had a problem with the first unit fitted, contacted Yan who provided excellent customer service and helped resolve the problem. Used this to charge my ebike while travelling, and also for the odd electrical item as and when required on the road. Excellent company and great customer service, wouldn't hesitate to buy from them once again.

It was so far so good but now.....IT BURNT
Further Update- Left it running unsupervised with a 55W load but when I returned the place was smokey, smelled of toxic burning and the inverter was very hot to the touch. I've not tested to see if there is any damage to my solar and battery setup yet. This is very dissapointing. Yes it was cheap compared to some but it has had very little use and hasn't even lasted a year. There is no replacement policy (refund only) and the same unit now costs £10 more than it did. Better off buying a branded one that should last I guess. You have been warned!Update- after using it maybe once a month with no more than 650W it has started having issues where it repeatedly loses power and drops in and out of fault mode. It also seems to affect my solar charge controller which needs disconnected and reconnected to see batteries again even though the inverter is connected straight to the battery. When used just with battery and no solar connections the fault still persists.Origional review - So far so good! only used a few times with various powertools and only up to 550W. The difference using pure sine instead of modified wave is obvious. Cheap but very cheerful.

Does the job and Works well
I like this product because the cooling fan is temperature controlled not like many cheaper inverters where they run constantly and waste energy.
