I know they are not vampires but that is the simplest way to describe the game. If you like Dark souls games then you will have fun with this one.Buy it.

It's a good game, very fitting of the name "Anime Souls", and great character customization options. Visuals is stunning, gameplay mechanics are a little iffy. Blocking and knockback are definitely a thing. Enemies hit hard and knock you back, it might be my build. Enemies can overwhelm you at times but bosses seem balanced at times. I got the platinum for Nioh and the gameplay is 100% different, don't expect to see better gameplay just because you're semi good at Nioh. Expect to learn the mechanics and follow the steep learning curve, if you like the concepts of Nioh, Dark Souls, and even Sekiro- you'll enjoy this game. People say the story is bland, if you enjoy anime type structuring and storytelling it's very much the same. I enjoyed and I've been immersed so far in the story and the lore.

Dark Souls gameplay with Anime aesthetic, a merged didn't think it would work, but it did surprisingly. Some dropped frames in PS4 when loading new assets, but nothing that interrupts the gameplay.

It looks so surprisingly good. Was expecting something like borderlands, but oh no. Nowhere near that.
