Great watch. The 6 is fine for a larger wrist
Just got this today. I'll update the review after a week or so when i've had a chance to play with it.I was looking for an attractive, tough, light weight, long battery life smartwatch that i can use to track sleep and activity. I probably could have gone with a cheaper watch but i like the size of the 6 on my wrist.I downloaded a few watch faces. Super easy to do. Just follow the instructions on your connect app.Like all garmin devices, notifications are mirrored from your phone so modify those if you think you're getting too many. The black silicone band is very comfortable and keeps the watch in the same place on my wrist.Set up Garmin Express on your laptop with the cord plugged in. You can download apps and watch faces like the Christmas one shown in the photo.Pros:All day pulse ox measurement is awesome. It pretty much does a measurement once per hour or so.Steps are spot on accurate. I had a Vivosmart that I used first and calibrated steps with. I think the profile information on the vivosmart transferred to my Fenix 6.Set up to the Garmin Express app on my laptop was flawless. My watch needed a firmware update which it did once I plugged the watch into the USB and connected to my MacBook.Garmin Connect is fast when it syncs.Cons:It didn't connect to my iPhone XR right away. It had some problems. After I rebooted the watch, the Garmin Connect app found it and synced.Expensive, but it's the best multisport watch money can buy.** Another update ** Battery life is outstanding (~6 days estimated) even with pulse ox on all the time and measuring during sleep. The watch is very comfortable to sleep in. It doesn't feel heavy at all. I wear it all day. Changed bands to a garmin leather one and it's smaller than the stock black silicone band but still comfortable.

Excellent, sleek, stylish, pretty and functional watch
This is my 4th Garmin watch upgrading from a 735xt which I've used for 4 years. Also, as of this writing, the Fenix 7 is now out so the 6 has come down in price significantly. I'm primarily a runner and walker (both activities with my dog), and this watch more than suits my needs. It's got lots of features and screens that the FR 735xt didn't have as well as more data and metrics. So far, so good..... did I mention it's pretty? lol. It's way better as a "wearable" and looks great on my wrist as a regular wrist watch.

This is a great watch
I bought this watch for my husband. He is still learning to use all of its features, however, the features he is using have been a great help to him. The reason for the 4 stars for working out is that he does not track anything but his walking steps. Mileage he has not used or figured out how to use. That is the reason for the 3 stars. He does love the watch and said if he did use the watch to its full potential he would give it 5 stars all the way around.

Intimidating, but worth it!
Initially I recent got a fitness coach and I'm in the gym daily so this watch was an obvious choice. However when I got it, I was immediately intimidated by just the sheer volume of features and it seemed technical to operate.I actually started a return but the decided to give it a chance. First, download the Garmin Connect app and set it up. It's pretty simple to use once you know the top button on the right side SELECTs things. The one under it goes BACK. The middle on the left goes UP bottom goes DOWN, and the top on the left is simply the LIGHT.You can also hold them to access the apps or menu as well. The metrics this thing tracks are ridiculous. You'll love it if you give it a try!

Works great when on my left arm, but I prefer it on my Right.
Comfort 10/10Fit 10/10Design 10/10Accuracy 7/10I would absolutely love to give it a 4.5, but that's just not an option. So I am a left handed person, also I am black, but I am light skin (this will all make sense soon). This was my 2nd fenix device, I mistakenly bought the 6S before not understanding it was for smaller arms/wrists. When running I kept having a major issue with the watch losing distance while running.Issues caused by this include, doing a training plan that had me over training due to the fact that it though I was running at too slow a pace because it was incorrectly tracking. Also, running further than I planned. I believe in the former case, it caused an injury while using a training plan.Over time I have been using the item, and eventually started to increase my distance before my marathon. This was happening mostly during summer, and being outside for 2 - 3 hours running usually means I would develop a farmers tan. In order to even things out, and also let my right wrist even out with my arm. I noticed that on my left wrist the watch tracks perfectly. Only problem is that at this point, I lost faith in the app and items within it. I even tried switching arm within the app, still has issues with tracking incorrectly. If I was a right handed person, I would honestly give this watch a 10/10 all the way around. Very good watch, and the app is great, but considering it has issues working on my right wrist, just had to be honest and knock the score a bit!

Great product.
Just as described.

Life saver
Best feature is the “back to start point” if it wasn’t for this watch, I would’ve been lost in Yosemite Park. Anytime you start a hike always remember to mark your start point if you’re unfamiliar with the area. I’d still be lost in Yosemite if it wasn’t for this watch.

Great Watch
Great watch use it for Mountain Biking, Hiking & Running. Good battery life lasts about five days if you are tracking rides and hikes.
