Satisfied
The Jute cloth was purchased to help seed a hill of clay. The seed would not stay without some type of support. We scrape the hill, put as much topsoil on top as we could and then used Penn State seed. Finally, the Jute was put on top with staples and to date grass is growing quite well. Without the cloth I don't think that the seeds would've stayed on the hill due to rain. We watered the hill at least twice a day.

Perfect for the job!
We cleared a bank and needed something to keep the dirt from eroding. This adhered to the soil and became part of it. It was easy to separate enough to get plants in between. Just perfect!

Invaders in the Zen Garden
I bought this material to help control the movement of gravel within a sloped Zen garden. What I didn't factor into my decision to purchase this item was the fact that squirrels would harvest it for their own purposes. Although none of the material was initially exposed to them they very quickly moved the gravel aside and made away with pieces of the netting. If you have squirrels in your outdoor environment, and who doesn't, be prepared for a similar result. I should also mention that the two boxes of garden staples did nothing to deter them. I get that the squirrels are just being squirrels, but I can't help thinking of them as "fuzzy tailed rat bastards"!

Flexible versatile woven jute
Have used this for many years, loosely woven irregular jute strands with rectangle openings 1 inch by 1/2 an inch, though there are larger ones at 1" x1" squares. The strands alone are useful too. Have used it on garden slopes near oaks trees as intended to dying it and using it in textile art and theatrical set designs.

BEWARE Do not Buy !!!!!!
Beware do not purchase...this is jute in a box unrolled and the quality is horrible. We opened the box open and closed it right back...then we returned it only to find out after a week of waiting for credit to my account they charged me almost $30 for restocking fee..this is bull for a quality of a product does not met amazon standards...you should noted that when I filled out all paper work I have a restocking fee was never mentioned....this is a third party company amazon is allowing on their site..this company has poor quality and horrible refund policies of thinking oh well you got to keep this product or we will zing you with a restocking fee..unfair...I have put a complaint to amazon...Do Not buy !!! It’s junk...

Covering my garden
I used this on my asparagus and strawberries, to hold straw in place over the winter. I used small metal u-shaped stakes to hold it to the ground. It is working very well, but comes apart very easily. It remains to be seen whether I can pick it up in condition to be used again next year. Also, since the mesh moves around quite easily, I can see where some critters have taken up residence. I don't mind unless they eat my plants!
