I love it most definitely it’s a beautiful piece of art everything is exactly as I wanted besides one thing I feel the end list out a bit too much ink because I finde myself getting ink on my fingers a good bit when using it tho it might just be that iv only had one other calligraphy pen and didn’t have that issue but I don’t know if that a common trait or not but again otherwise it’s wonderful

I bought this brand pen in Jan, 2021. This was a beautiful pen whether chose for self use or sent it as gift. It’s was have a little bit weight compare plastic ballpoint pen. High quality body cover outside. I wrote this review 2 years later because of the excellent warranty service. Couple days ago, I found a plastic part inside broken, I reached Xezo customer service, they responded back in a day, and after I sent pictures of the problem of the pen, and my purchase evidence, they sent a new one to replace it. Very excellent customer service and care much about their customers.

Normally it is best to wait a week, maybe two after some serious testing (work) of a product whether it be pen or anything else, but a first impression of this pen is valuable. I have other pens on which I've spent at least twice as much, one handmade in Japan which has disappointed me. Aside from the rather garish looks of this pen, I will say that right out of the box (a nice two-door affair) it's a good writer. Could be the German nib there. And really, when you think about it, what one really wants out of a fountain pen is capability. Does it write or doesn't it? Is it easy or a pain in the neck? This pen writes well...so far. By the way, a couple of nice touches: It comes in a nice case with a converter and 4 small cartridges. The converter works well unlike several others I have. There is a warranty card that looks like a credit card, a cloth for drying the pen after cleaning (Xezo recommends cleaning the pen twice a year) and a multi-language quality assurance pamphlet which appears to be hand signed as does the actual warranty card. I can't find it anywhere, but I'm assuming the pen is made in China.Some of the complaints about this pen have to do with the material around the barrel and the gold plating, that they become defective over time. I can't speak to that as I just received mine. Needless to say it looks well constructed to me, a bit heavy, but I like that and somewhat unwieldy when posted, which I don't really mind. If it's heft you want this pen won't disappoint. Against that background I like the pen because it writes well.Couple of things. The converter that comes with this pen is superior to any other converter I have. It has a metal end which squeezes into the section in effect creating an air tight mating. I've seen others that have the same feature, but at a much higher price point. Second, I'm a voracious journal writer, sometimes filling up several pages each day. Indeed, my book (here on Amazon) "My Father's Book Of Southern Italian Peasant Food" began life as a journal...my father's journal. I've been writing all day with this pen and it has been a pleasure, can report no bad news on it.

I’ve been using fountain pens for years, and decided it was time to treat myself to one that would certainly last, considering the price. I’m sorry to report that this pen no longer works. The cartridge doesn’t stay in place and the ink leaks everywhere. I’m heartbroken because this was a present to myself for my 50th birthday. I’d definitely give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for weight, beauty, and how it writes. It’s definitely a gorgeous pen and seems to be well made. I have no idea why it no longer is holding the ink well. Just sad😔😔😔

Beautiful pen smooth and looks amazing

I love fountain pens and this is one of the most gorgeous I've seen. I'm a woman and normally prefer pens that are slimmer and lighter weight than this so it takes a bit of time for me to adjust. But it also means that this pen is suitable for both women and men. It's 4 mm (1 9/16 in) in circumference or 14 mm(1/2 in) in diameter; with the cap closed it's 140 mm (5 5/8 in) long; with the cap off it's 127 mm (5 in) [this is just long enough for me to use alone] and with the cap placed on the bottom it's 170 mm (6 3/4 in.) Happily the barrel is just long enough to hold a spare ink cartridge in addition to the one in use. The product information says it weighs 40 grams (1.4 oz.) The fittings are 18 karat yellow gold which is marked on the cap. The nib is beautifully patterned; the cap has proper screw fittings under the nib to close and again near the bottom to get the extended length. It comes in a gift box with certificates and warranty; and, unlike many other similarly priced pens, 4 black ink cartridges and a converter for use with bottled ink are included. It takes the International standard size cartridge. The pen adapted to my writing style quite quickly; it writes very, very smoothly -- no blobs of ink at all and it glides effortlessly over the paper with very little pressure. The varying iridescent blue, green and purple hues of the abalone shells really catch the light; one could almost become hypnotized when twirling the pen. I'm thrilled with this beautiful, interesting pen; it's a wonderful gift for someone else or for oneself.

I had originally ordered the one with the script looking lines on the nib but received the one with the stars in the mail. I spoke with Xezo customer service and they informed me they are moving away from offering the script nib. So I essentially got a free upgrade to a better nib.I tried to use one of my shimmer inks, but the particles in it blocked up the ink flow to an unenjoyable point. Only use conventional ink in this pen and it will likely become one of your favorites as well.

I bought these as a gift for my father for his birthday. He really likes fountain pens, but doesn't like that many of them are too short. This one was great because the top screws on, making the pen longer than a normal fountain pen - at least longer than all the ones he's tried. The pattern was also very nice and high-quality.

Beautiful. So much so cant use it?! Writes well enough. Could've been slightly bigger and heavier to be perfect. Now to make sure partner doesn't steal it!
