Very easy to install, clearly labeled making it easy to read as well. It's durable, functional and is designed to be easy to read. It's a good value since H/D wanted almost twice as much and you can actually get two for that price from Amazon.

I give this gauge high marks for being very easy to use and for multiple scales to account for temperature effects on propane tank pressure. That said, like most products made in China, quality control is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a great unit at a great price from a Chinese manufacturer, other times you get a piece of junk. In my case, when I first installed this gauge it leaked so badly that I could not only smell the leak but hear it. No matter how tight I tried to make the connection to the BBQ propane tank, it would not seal properly. Fortunately, I had an old gauge with exactly the same fitting. I unscrewed the fitting from the old unit and installed it on the new gauge. It then sealed properly and works great. If in doubt about a leak, put some soapy water on the fittings and look for bubbles. If you see bubbles forming, there is a leak. Also, the unit comes with some yellow Teflon tape. That kind of tape is intended to help seal the threads on gas line fittings However, that tape it totally useless in this case as the seal is not made with the threads, but the seal is made with the dome-shaped end of the fitting, and you can't get the tape on that dome since it is recessed down inside the surrounding plastic nut. Overall, I am OK with the unit and you might get a good one on the first try. But if you get a bad one, I suggest that you send it back and try another one -- Chinese roulette!

Bought this for my portable gas heater cabinet as it was hard to know how much propane was left when the tank is in it's place in rear of cabinet. I'm used to being able to lift the tank to feel for propane remaining with other heater models, but that's not possible in this cabinet configuration. This solved the problem with ease, and is very readable at a glance. Seems to be holding up well so far and does not leak. Good Product! Two Thumbs Up!

No issues so far the guage works and gives a good idea on how much propane you have left. I used some teflon tapes designed for gas (yellow) on the tank threads just to be safe and there have been no gas leaks.

Easy to use and install. Easy to read and accurate. Works well in the winter. Great value. Perfect fit for 20 LB tanks.

Purchased this gauge, hooked it up to a full tank and it read full. When the tank was very closed to empty gauge still read full? Not sure if the gauge is defective or what. The tank is clearly almost empty and still reads full, in the green? Defeats the purpose.
