Works as advertised
I was bummed out when I bought couplers to attach to my sanke so I could use my ball locks. The result was the keg wouldn’t fit in my kegerator! The savior..... this little elbow I’m reviewing. With the standard couplers, the beer line comes in straight up and down and so the ball lock coupler hits the top of the kegerator. With this elbow the beer line comes in perpendicular to the sanke and boom!... it fits right into the kegerator. Works perfect with my ball locks and allows for fast switching from Cornelius keg to commercial keg.

Works great and creates a lot of room.
Installed it a few days ago to fit a quarter slim into my kegerator and it worked perfectly. I adapted my sanke connections to accommodate pin lock posts and that made them stick up about 1/4 inch too high to fit in the kegerator and crimped the beer line. This coupler gives me about 1 1/2 clearance. Plenty of room to move keg around without causing kinks, stress. No leaks and no threading issues. Thanks for saving the day for me!In the picture you can see the sanke connector on the left with the coupler and the original connector with the corny keg adapter on the right.

Perfect addition to an amazing setup
Due to the limited clearance there was a tight bend in the tubing leaving the Keg. The Co2 was coming out of solution at the bend after hours of no usage and this was causing foam to develop when the first pour was made. I bought this coupler to eliminate the bend in the tubing . It worked perfectly. The item came as expected with a washer to allow for easy installation. The coupler is very heavy - excellent quality! I would recommend this product even if you have plenty of clearance.

Perfect, helped me make my keg + coupler fit in my fridge!
Perfect! It helped me a bunch making a commercial keg coupler (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UZUSIM/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4) fit inside my kegerator. I also used quick disconnects (added to gas and liquid sides, so coupler to elbow [this product] to liquid disconnect (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C30F75I/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5) so I could use ball lock home brew connectors for 5 gal Corney kegs.Hope this helps! This getup helped me enjoy a sam adams oktoberfest (D coupler - Std US sankey coupler) [pictured] and after a quick line clean, hop to hoegaarden (A coupler - German slider type coupler) whilst having the ability to enjoy home brew experiments.ThanksG11/17/2014

Does What It Should, But Pay Attention To The Washer Installation....
Works great, now I don't have a pinched line causing foam in my pours anymore. I see some folks mentioning leaks, when I first connected the elbow I had a leak as well. I discovered that the included washer should NOT be installed on the female threaded side between the Sanke coupler and the elbow, but on the male threaded side between the elbow output and the hose connection. You should use the washer that you already had installed between the Sanke and the elbow, once I swapped the washers to match this there were no leaks at all. See the attached photo for illustration. The vendor may want to consider including a small slip of paper describing this to prevent others from having the same issue, otherwise I would have given this a five star rating.

Low, but not super low
Got a new draft beer cooler and the evaporator was too low to put in 1/4 and 1/6 kegs with the standard D coupler. Used this to flip it 90 degrees, but still just a little too high. Bought some Perlick lo-boy couplers which where perfect. So between those lo-boys and these I can now put in six 1/4 or 1/6 kegs without an issue. Leaves room for storage and extra kegs if we wanted to. Good cheap option to save some space, but just not as low as the lo-boy couplers.

Nicely made
Installed with no issues, no leaks and reduced the height of my keg setup by over an inch. A+

Without the bubbles getting caught in the line like that, the first pour is great
I have low clearance in between the top of my kegs and the ceiling of my kegerator. Before purchasing this, my beer line was forced to have "vertical" {slinky stretch out laying on the ground} coils, which would trap bubbles in them, and always make the first pour of the day foamy. Now that I have this piece, I can get my beer line in "horizontal" {slinky sitting at the top of the stairs right before it is flipped over} coils so there are no high spots that can trap the bubbles. Now the bubbles make their way all the way to the tap during extended periods without pours. Without the bubbles getting caught in the line like that, the first pour is great.
