Very bright on my 2006 Honda CR-V
These are definitely brighter than my cheapie bulbs I had in previously. To the point I’m wondering if they’re too bright because they nearly blind me same way high beams do. But regardless, I see much better at night now, and way better at night in the rain. Not sure how long they’ll last, but I’m usually pretty good at updating my reviews. So chances are good if you’re reading this, they’re still working fine. I recommend to anyone looking for brighter bulbs.Just be careful when shopping for bulbs, because I’ve noticed Amazon has become very bad at recommending the appropriate product for specific vehicles; it states two completely different fittings can fit my 2006 Honda cr-v even though that’s false.

Not white but not as yellow as factory bulbs
They're not as white as shown on the pictures, they are very bright though

Liquid fire when mounted on the 2015 Ford Fiesta
27 December 2015: These have been mounted on a 2015 Ford Fiesta to replace the OEM Long Life Osrams (German-made). This upgrade is honestly... Questionable due to the absurd level of lumens. Changing the H11s is recommended though! Philips does not classify these as usable for the high beams, but they work, and boy do they WORK.The H1 bulbs are an absolute *pain* to install and need to be realigned in the socket several times. The whole headlamp is recommended to be removed when replacing any of the bulbs on the 2015 Fiesta and can be done with the removal of two screws.Upon installation and when matched with the Philips H11 X-tremeVision Bulbs, the road is ILLUMINATED. You will need a long-necked Phillips-head screwdriver to readjust the aim of both headlamps, as it's aimed too high per factory settings.===The first night that I drove back to where I was staying with them both correctly inserted, ALL highway straightaways had signs that reflected *around the bends ahead*. I couldn't test the maximum distance that night of about 1.6-1.7mi in clear weather with clean headlamps due to oncoming traffic, but really don't doubt after tonight with seeing a slush-splashed NFS brown sign reflect at ~1.1mi through some light fog with my headlamps covered in grime. These bulbs forced me to retrain my backroad night driving due to oncoming traffic being seldom detected around corners with nearly all but the blue tinged and other night driver high beams overpowering these at even 1/4mi.Do NOT purchase these if you need your high beams for flashing, DRL, heavy'ish oncoming traffic, etc, as one is limited to low beams only for distances of upwards of a mile or more.===First image is unedited outside of the expanded blowup at ~1.1mi with heavy road grim on the lenses. Second image (Rocks warning diamond signage) is at the large diamond in the first. The final shows the condition of the final sign that has a faint reflection to the left of the diamond in the first. The sign is overexposed in the second image.----Update 10 April 2016:The bulbs are still going strong! While they've dimmed a touch since purchase (~5k miles ago), they certainly do exhibit the desired Xtreme Vision qualities that were desired for all conditions. These bulbs do take some time to "warm up" to maximum brightness if the bulbs are not already warm due to the ambient interior headlamp temperatures. While mostly noticeable when below freezing, I can still tell a difference when it's below 40f.---Update 28 November 2017:The bulbs are still chugging away!A massive plus that I've since found is that when the bulbs are fully warmed up on a clear summer night, I can generally spot deer 1 mile out and see reflections of mileposts 2+ miles away.Currently looking at purchasing a pair of "cheap" headlamps (Likely Hella) to offset the H1/H11 Hi/Lo pair so I can have safe in-town driving while being able to spot the deer/moose/bear/critters when out roaming the countryside. :D

The 5 star reviews don’t lie, these bulbs are great!
I have a 2013 Dodge Charger R/T which I purchased used. The car came with aftermarket projector headlight assemblies, the high and low beams and the fog lights were so dim and yellow I swear there were candles in them instead of bulbs. I couldnt see squat at night, it was actually dangerous to drive at night. I researched the hell out replacement bulbs. Didnt want HID because of the expense and short life. I considered LED’s but in researching found they are bright but the beam is not concentrated. I found these Phillips H1 Crystal Visions here on Amazon. I read the reviews and read of people having the same issue of dim lights. Because of the great reviews these had I decided to give them a whirl. These things are incredibly bright and as small of a shade off from white you can barely see that, they are as close to pure white as you can get in a halogen bulb with the longer life of a halogen. If you have experienced the same issue of dull yellow bulbs, try these by all means, you wont be disappointed! I love these bulbs and the price was great!

Both Lasted 2 Years.
Previously I always bought Sylvania bulbs for my car and wanted to try something else to change it up. No complains regarding the performance/light output, felt pretty standard for a headlight bulb in my 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback. However, I feel like the life of them was a bit short? My day time running lights are disabled, so I only have my headlights on when its dark out. I purchased these Feb 2022, and It's now Oct 2024. One bulb went out, and then a few weeks later the other went too. At least they're consistent I suppose.I'm going to try the Philips Standard H1 bulbs. I wanted to go with another brand, but these will ship soonest and need the replacement asap. We'll see how those go.

Is not white light!!!
The bulbs say pure white light. These are NOT white light at all. Total waste of money.

Definitely an improvement, but definitely not xenon.
I own a 2003 Beetle convertible, and the lights that were previously installed were awful. You could barely see down the road, and you couldn't see the road during the rain.I bought and installed the Philips H1 CyrstalVision after doing research between that and Sylvania's, and I could definitely see a difference immediately. They are definitely brighter and whiter than normal halogens (first picture is the previous bulb, second is the Philips, third is the comparison), but with other reviewers, you will not be getting the xenon look at all. I installed them in all lights (low beam, high beam, fog lights--three sets total for $75.00) and, although I do see a big difference in brightness/visibility, I was kind of expecting more. There is a bit of yellow tint still (see picture of the front of the car), but definitely better than what was there previously. Overall, I would say that visibility and reflectiveness has improved by about 30 percent which is essential for night driving.Overall, they are a great buy for the price and hopefully, they last longer than the one-year expectation of Sylvania's bulbs.
