I know...pricier than others, but get this one.
Got this and itt works well. Seems like others are not as pointy. This one is very sharp and makes nice hoes that do not tear. I got the one that comes with a cover. Was just going to stick some foam on the end, but this is easier and nicer.

Easy to use to remove air pockets from sausage casings.

Works well!- But dont poke to many holes. Juice of meat should stay in casing - otherwise dries out
Works well!- But don't poke too many holes. Juice of meat should stay in the casing - otherwise dries out while cooking due to tasty fatty juice loss. Some Youtube videos say poke both sides... I don't recommend this... Just don't overstuff your casing and poke only the large air bubbles.

Used for poking homemade longanesa. Works great cause the holes are small.

Stab those saussages
Nobody wants air pockets in their saussages, so stab em wih this tool.First time I tried making saussage on my own and this was a very handy tool.If you are an enthusiast apprentice saussage maker, add to cart my friend.
