Bravo! Courageous! Truth! I Laughed out loud. As an old crusty, thank you to the author!!There is love and compassion in this as well, granted it is in the reality sandwich which makes this even more enjoyable. Rule 62!Recommended!!

BIG FAN!!! Highlights the truth of AA with a great sense of Humor!!
I read this and cracked up the whole time. While poking fun at AA and saying a lot of what everyone thinks about the big book, it also touches on a lot of the things that people have taken the liberty of doing in AA that have nothing to do with the big book, like: "pray and call me everyday, once you do that for a week we will start step 1!" LOL. Not only was this a great laugh but it actually incited a lot of thought for me... made me you ask Myself: "Am I following the same message that worked for first members, as it was meant to be by Bill and Bob? Or am I deluding the message with my opinion?". Love everything about this... I have ordered a few copies and had them sent to friends in the program in different parts of the state. The amazing this is that this is so universally relatable! I hope that everyone gets an opportunity to experience this book, if you're reading this but more than 1 because I guarantee you know a few people you will want to share it with.

Insightful, fun read for AA members familiar with the Big Book
As a sober person who loves the Big Book, I found this satire to be funny and poignant. Much of what is expressed in AA meetings today has nothing to do with the original message of AA. I myself was mislead for years by a fellowship that said "you can't trust your thoughts because you're insane, so let your sponsor make all your big decisions for you." Finally I went through the Big Book with a sponsor that actually read it word by word with me and thankfully now have a different understanding of the spiritual solution.I thoroughly enjoyed this satirical illustration of the modern misconceptions heard in the rooms. Definitely laughed out loud many times. Glad someone had the inspiration to make light of what can be a difficult and troubling juxtaposition

Better second time around
First read through I found myself confused. Realized later I had been at a meeting earlier in the day and left it feeling down. Reread two days later and it was quite amusing. Audience is definitely for someone who has been to quite a few A.A. or 12-step meetings. Quick read.

Never know what you're missing
This book literally has me in tears, because of laughter of course. This book is hilariously and sadly accurate for what some meetings and members of AA actually say. I spent many sobriety attempts being told I couldn't sponsor anyone because I didn't have over a year, and sadly thought I had to find a sponsor who had more than 30.I loved reading this, it was my life in AA for a long time. I am so glad I can find humor in it now after actually going through the Big Book as it is outlined with a sponsor. This also reaffirms that I want to do better in my life as a sober person to not let these messages come out of my mouth. So grateful for this quick read, it contains a serious message in a comical way. Thank you "Clay"!

This is a complete ripoff
This was nothing like I expected! Just a few pages of worthless bs. I wouldn’t even want it for free!

I Finished - How can you finish anything that starts with the word "CONTINUE?!"
This book is fantastic! For someone who really understands the true meaning of sobriety, this book is a fabulous read. It's a satire of what we find in the rooms today and really hits home for those of us who take the program seriously.Absolutely hysterical! This can only be written by a person that understand the Big Book in it's fullest extent. I remember starting the work in the program and asked people when I would finish my steps and I heard a share that very lovingly said to the group "how can you finish anything that starts with the word continued", and that was the moment I understand this is a journey, not a destination.Read, enjoy, live, learn, and make some new friends!
