Great product

Easy to swallow, not much of a taste

I'm not a nutritionist, but I've read a lot on iodine. The RDA of iodine is 150 mcg. You can get too much iodine, but for adults you'd have to get over 1100 mcg. For children it's lower. Iodine is needed for proper thyroid function and metabolism. If you're cutting back on salt (which is fortified with iodine and a main source for many) and want to make sure you're getting enough, this is a good supplement. Fruits and vegetables also have iodine, but the exact amount is hard to quantify because it depends largely on how nutrient rich the soil they were grown in was. Eating a lot of cruciferous vegetables also inhibits our absorption of iodine, so if you're eating a lot of broccoli and kale, iodine might be something you want to consider. Iodine affects some people differently. You should always check the latest science and consult your doctor.

I have been using this product for years, and it has never disappointed in it's use. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a long lasting and quick acting product.

Seams good quality

I'm giving this 3 stars because of how difficult it is to handle these little tablets. They are small, and very very slippery. I have no way of knowing if they really contain what they say that do, though I think that's the case, and the price is reasonable (as it should be for what's basically just an iodine supplement) but I won't buy these again because it's too easy for them to get away.I suppose some people might find them easier to swallow, but given their small size, I can't imagine that that would be an issue for many people.
