Love these Italian snack cakes

I absolutely love these little cakes, went through 4 boxes and reordering. There was an error with my first order where it was packed in a box marked delicate, glass and postage due charge of almost $27. I contacted the company and they responded within hours and refunded the charge to my credit card. These cakes are my daily reward after a day’s work☺️

I am absolutely baffled as to why this was shipped in a paper bag.When I first opened the bag, I was confused as to why I only received one pack...that was until I realised that they had been completely crushed to look like 1 pack.I really can't understand the thought process when packing this item. Amazon never seems to have any issue using giant boxes even for tiny items...but something so delicate gets shoved into a bag?The product itself I know to be great, it's not like you're typical, overly sweet chocolate coated cake. It's light and fluffy cake and the coating is thin enough that you can still get notes of citrus. This cake has been around since as long as I can remember. A classic Italian treat!The ones I received are not light or fluffy because of the crushing ans the chocolate is completely cracked off the sides, making it a crumbly mess -_-Amazing how much texture makes a difference.

We found these on our trip to Italy and had to buy them once we got home. Love them!

the Mix Max cakes were wonderful. delivery was fast & they were not scrunched in shipping, each cake snack was perfectly nomable.

Mix Max deserves a category all its own. They're super soft, moist, light and rich at the same time. The chocolate is silky, SILKY smooth, inside and out. Used to only find them at small, ethic stores like Italian and Lebanese stores. I was stunned and thrilled to see them at Stop&Shop last week. I just hope they never compromise the quality in order to expand.
