Lid is a bit of a pain to shut if cooker is already hot or warm

The media could not be loaded. I had no doubts while ordering this Prestige pressure cooker and it lived up to its reputation. Did not stick, cleaned easily, big enough to cook for 4 people at least, maybe even 5. Reduced my cooking time significantly. A great addition to my kitchen.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using pressure cookers for many years. This is one of the bad ones I have ever used. There are worse ones but this is among them too. It’s difficult to put the cover on especially when it’s hot. It also leaks from the pressure relief valve and the weight value, making a mess. I will return it.

I purchased three of these prestige pressure cookers a little over a year ago. Small, medium and large. I have cooked about anything you could imagine in them. By the way if you haven't made rice or potatoes (for mashing) in one, you're really missing out on some amazing flavors in seemingly bland foods. Anyway, with all the use and washing (by hand) these cookers still look, shine and work like new. One of my best purchases of all time.
