DOLPHIN 9995431-ASSY Maytronics Cartridge Assy and Bottom Lid Conversion Kit

I’ve been using the filter bag on my Dolphin for years. It works well and really filters fine debris like pollen. But it tends to clog quickly and is a pain to clean.This pleated paper filter system works just fine for day to day cleaning, doesn’t clog with leaves, etc and is simple and quick to clean!

Smaller filters. But the “filter carriage” fit perfectly in my old dolphin extending it’s life a little longer.

Fit exactly in place. The tabs that join the frame to the base are too fragile and are easily broken

This kit fit well with my DX7. My only complaint is that there are small plastic tabs holding the filter housings to the base plate, and they break easily under normal operations, creating gaps and ultimately messing up the suction. Worked well when it was working

Replaced the filter bag,with these, much easier to clean.

I’m happy to report this was able to revive my tired sunburnt plastic filter basket. The twist locks that hold the filters all started to snap off no matter how careful. The mesh filters were also ripping from the frames. Lo and behold when it finally all broke bad enough to require wire wrap to vacuum I found this. The pictures will show the filter size and depth disparity between the original and new. Don’t be afraid, although your old filters are now obsolete the new design is easier to place in the vacuum. Very happy to find this part so I don’t need to trash this old work horse 🤘

Cheap materials that break with installation, filters do not fit the model the seller claims product is designed to fit.

I searched for Replacement filter cartridge for Dolphin Supreme M4 and this showed up..and I bought it. it’s not even close. Maytronics’ constantly changing model line-up and nomenclature is ultra confusing and the trickle down effect on vendor interpretation makes it worse. The Maytronics website is confusing as well and I’ve read they charge a restocking fee for Mis-orders. The Maytronics products are well engineered and durable, but the parts support across this niche is a hot mess. I’m thinking about doing a parts-cross-reference-nomenclature spreadsheet and selling it to preserve the sanity of pool owners, then run for President.
