Functional, attractive, great price, and my Betta loves it. Not a good
Wonderful cave for my Betta. He was at home in it immediately and it’s pretty. It does have some sharp edges. But I smoothed them out with an emery board. It’s functional, attractive, great price, arrived in perfect condition. Just take care of those few rough edges.

Great fish hideout
This medium option is in my 5 gallon tank. It arrived well packaged and seems to be made of a good material. Following some of the other reviews suggestions, I gave it a good rinse before putting into my tank and I haven't had any issues with green flakes. It's big and offers great shade for the Cory's and shrimp. The shrimp love to crawl all over and pick through the moss. I wish they had a smaller option but the medium is working well.

Pretty good option for price
I liked it pretty well. The only few things to note (hence 4 stars instead of 5) if you are using this for any aquatic creatures with sensitive skin you will have to sand it down. There are so many sharp edges. You also have to scrub it down since the moss on it flakes off when you first open it and just rinsing it is not enough.

This is an amazing cave for any aquatic animal my crayfish loves this and gives him the sense of security he needs when he wants to hide. It is very easy to clean very lightweight and very durable for your money

Would you jeopardize your pets life?
Although a great size and looks good, would you want this in with your betta or any other fish? It has a lot of sharp edges that need to be filed down. This is typical of a huge number of plastic decorations, so I expected it. But more to the point, I placed this in a bucket of clean water to rinse off before using in my aquarium. An hour later this is what I found. Needless to say, I won’t need to file the sharp edges. It will be returned.

HAZARD BE WARE PAY ATTENTION AT ALL TIMES- we now have two lizards because of it
Ok first and foremost this is a solid lizard hidey rock. Pretty, easy cleaning, sturdy all the things. However!!! I now have TWO leopard geckos due to this damn rock. Shortly after placing the rock in the tank, I walked by and noticed the lid was off and my 10year olds brand new pet lizard gone. We searched high and low, removing all tank items and BOOP gone. We figured our cat ate it and did what any good parents would do- replaced the lizard before she could notice. After several days, a new imposter gecko and not one kid any the wiser, we thought we were in the clear.Nay nay!On day three of imposter lizard, 10yo noticed the cage was extra poopy and set out to clean her pets area. WELL BOY GOLLY was she in for a surprise. She picked up the rock and scream MOM THERES A TAIL IN THE ROCK.**ensue panic** husband and I ran to the tank fearing found lizard parts. We did not in fact find any dead lizard parts, naaaaaay!! We found THE WHOLE ENTIRE FIRST LIZARD ALIVE STUCK IN THE ROCK. My husband had to carefully break the rock and PULL the very stuck little lizard out of it. OG gecko had been STUCK in the rock for nearly three days and maaaaaaan did we have some explaining to do.We now have a VERY happy two lizard having 10year old. And no rock.

nice size
My fish died before I recieved it but I plan on getting another beta and can't wait to use it. Its a good size and looks so cozy for the fish. Love the greenery on the top. My fish got fin rot because of what I was using before and he just could not survive the second time around. I decided the cave I was using was causing it. The edges on this cave are smooth and its big enough to turn around in without tearing the fins. I think it will be much better.
