Came without a cover
The product packaging is so so bad. How can a product like this come without a cover?

Very great
Keeps my makeup on although, my T-zone still gets a bit oily. Might be because I don't put a lot. But it does a very good job holding your makeup down for more than 4 hours.

Industrial strength, best on the market.
Listen to me - your makeup is going NO WHERE with this stuff. Masks, rain, tears, sweat, it DOES NOT MATTER. Your makeup is not leaving your face. I read this product was actually made for stage makeup, which would make sense. It basically puts an industrial protective layer on your face so your makeup stays on until you WANT it to come off.

This setting spray is a GODSEND! But it's cheaper to buy this elsewhere.
If your skin is like mine and makes all types of "long-lasting" and "goof-proof" makeup still smudge no matter what you use to lock it down, then this product was made for you! I admit, I got a little excited to try it this morning and missed key steps in the makeup routine like priming after moisturizing, blending the foundation with a sponge for a few minutes so it really pressed into my skin, and blotting excess oil with a tissue before putting on setting powder, but that hardly mattered once I sprayed this on. All other drugstore sprays I've used before have never sealed my foundation in this well for this long; I'm still wearing the makeup I applied over 12 hours ago and there's very little difference! (I think the differences in my photos below have to do with slightly different lighting from outside and oxidation of the foundation from failing to blot). No transfer on my shirt neckline for the first time ever, foundation did not streak when my eyes watered and tears spilled over a bit, my eye makeup has hardly moved (I usually have to wipe away my "waterproof" gel eyeliner that has smudged onto my undereyes at least a few times a day) and the only issue I had was with some makeup rubbing off onto my glasses after resting on the sides of my nose. I believe that's my own fault for accidentally skipping those steps I mentioned earlier; I'll try this again tomorrow and see if I'm right. Oh, and a tip for those preparing to try this themselves: when you spray it on, don't open your eyes until all the mist has evaporated or dried onto your face because it'll sting a bit if you're not careful! I made sure to have a fan close by to speed up the drying process after spraying it on. Also, for anyone that doesn't have oily skin like me or just has some more dryness than usual thanks to this great winter weather, I'd suggest a moisturizing mist before putting this setting spray on so it doesn't dry you out too much. I personally love using rosewater and glycerin spray right before I put on some primer and another light coat after putting on powder if I start seeing dry spots; seems to help my makeup look more natural and even gives me a slight dewy look despite the layers of mattifying makeup I use to keep shiny oil at bay. From what I can tell so far, I believe this spray deserves more than 5 stars! My reason for giving it 4 stars, though, is because I didn't care much for the price. I purposely bought a 2 oz bottle that cost a few bucks more for Prime shipping because I thought it would get it here faster. The only Prime option was 4-5 days estimated shipping, it didn't reach me until about a week after ordering. I normally don't have this problem, anything else I've purchased with the usual two-day shipping has always gotten here in that allotted time (provided I place an order soon enough), so I don't see the point in paying a bit more when the shipping's not really any faster than standard shipping with other companies. I think in the future when I purchase more, -- and I already know I will -- I'll order from somewhere other than Amazon. There was a site I found selling the big refill bottles of certified Ben Nye Final Seal for $38 instead of around $50 like sellers I've found here are charging, selling the 2 oz bottle I got for about $5 less than I spent here, and they estimate about the same amount of time for shipping (3-5 business days). And most sites give you free shipping when you spend $50 or so, so why add a couple of small things to the cart and end up getting more products for around the same price?I was not given any kind of discount or compensation for my review, all statements I've made here are my own opinions.

Fan freaking tastic!!!
Summer makeup is always the hardest, especially if you live in the south! If you love makeup as much as I do, and have tried every setting spray out there to no avail...well THIS IS IT!Summer time in the south is humid af and sweating as soon as you step outside is the norm. I've tried every "name brand" setting spray on the market and this one surpasses them all.It doesn't keep you from sweating (although it says you can spray it on bare face to help control perspiration), but it does lock everything together and keep it there all day long! I pat my face with a paper towel to absorb any moisture and get minimal transfer.I was just recently at an outside gathering and had had my makeup on for more than 8 hours, in the sun, major sweat 105+ degrees. No less than 4 different people asked me what type of makeup I used. When I got home another 6 hours later, it was still on and looking just as good. The price is a little more expensive then your average setting spray, but I'll pay it plus some every single time because it is absolutely worth every penny!!!

not worth the price. Unsealed, dirty bottle and normal to cheap effectiveness
The media could not be loaded. Thought the label said “NEW”, the bottle was extremely crusty looking when I received it. There was not a deal on it either.I bought this after being swayed by reviews claiming it only needs one spray and it’s effective at keeping your makeup on your face in the worst environmental conditions. Now I haven’t even tested this spray in bad conditions but it still takes me a few sprays to hold the makeup. And in my opinion, the hold is normal. For comparison, I usually use NYX dewy finish. It does dry oddly quick. And for the applicator, I can’t say if it ducks or not because as soon as I received it, I transferred the liquid to an old setting spray bottle.

Burns with alcohol & menthol & doesn’t work
Alcohol based which is a bad thing for sensitive skin, also it has menthol in it so it burns your closed eyes when sprayed. Idk whose bright idea it was to make an alcohol spray for your face minty, but no thoughts were had in the process of that decisionLast but not least, it DOES NOT WORK! Made my ABH, Juice, & Fenty foundations/cc creams separate & become patchy in seconds when tried on them, especially on my nose, & transfers when rubbed worse than if I hadn’t used anything.I genuinely wanted to like this product, but even if it was the best ever, the stinging of the alcohol & menthol on the face & eyes wouldn’t be worth it.
