I first used this product after we purchased a Sebo vacuum cleaner . It is long lasting provided you keep the container securely closed. The powder is very slightly moist and keeping the powder securely sealed it keeps the powder in good condition. In my experience if the powder is allowed to dry out it is less effect

We bought a Sebo vacuum cleaner some years ago and this cleaning powder came with it. We've used this on our cream carpets ever since. We sprinkle some powder onto a stain, brush it into the pile of the carpet and leave for about half an hour then simply hoover up. I don't know how it performs on dark carpets - sometimes when we've forgotten to hoover up the powder, the carpet seems a little lighter around the stain, but after several hoovers the area blends into the rests of the carpet again. Visitors always ask how we keep our cream carpets looking clean. It really is thanks to Sebo Duo-P Carpet Cleaning Powder and I would definitely recommend!

Very fine moist powder which gently rubbed into carpet stains will, when, dry brush off and leave the treated area clean without removing colour from the carpet itself. There are just a few stains which it cannot tackle such as dried paint.

Messy to use, no cleaning ability at all, very disappointed

While the product was easy to use and did a very good job the price off Amazon was over twice what I paid for another pack from J Lewis so won’t be buying from them again.
