don't own this yet, but thought I'd clear up some of the bad reviews? it is quality.
I don't own this knife, however I own several others and to say that this knife is s***, is bull! these are relatively inexpensive knives at a decent quality. there are not ka-bar, or spyder co, or sog, or Columbia river, but would you rather spend 100$ + on a good knife and have it turn out to be just as bad? I mean for the price this is a good knife, trust me it may have it's flaws, but don't listen to the bad reviews. this is a good knife. even though I do not own this exact knife, I own many from M-tech, and their line of extreme knives are quite exceptional! I love them, although some of them are impractically designed and not really made for combat they still look and feel cool. and they have some good qualities despite that fact, so don't just turn away from this knife simply because people say it sucks, or it's total crap. it is 12$, what do you expect? did you expect a 500$ for 12$? if so then you are way out of sync! don't buy cheap products having such high expectations while trying to compare them to far more expensive and quality products. accept the fact that this is a cheaper knife, but it still has it's pros and cons just like any other knife! I would recommend any M-tech knife, they are of a adequate quality and most of them are ideal for hand to hand combat situations, or can be used outdoors for stuff too.

Great quality knife and sheath!!! 💪🏻
Quality knife and case! I’ll report back after a full hunting season! I’m concerned about the sheath clip that hold the knife in place while hiking through brush. We will see how it holds up.

Tanto fixed blade knife
This is a heavy knife, the blade is thick where it should be. The tang only goes half way into the handle, there is steel rod spot welded to the tang, threaded at the top for a alan nut. I think this should work pretty good. I also think a extra spot weld wouldbe a good idea, if you are or know a good welder. I have worked on the edge some. it will cut ok right now but I want to do somemore on it. I am going into the Ozark Mt,s and try digging in the ground and hacking limbs and what ever else I can think of. Forthe price I think it will work ok. I have a smaller MTECH tanto knife I've had for a couple of years and it's been worth the price.

Great knife for the price, I haven't found anything close to this for 3 times the price.
I bought this knife to add to my survival kit at home. I have a number of knives, but i wanted to get a bigger and better quality one for my hiking pack. The knife is balanced and not too heavy, while still feeling sturdy. I have tested it in basic fire building with chopping some small kindling, feather stick making, and batonning wood--it performed well in all three. It came pretty sharp, but I went ahead and sharpened it up a bit on my own first. The handle is easy to grip. The overall aesthetics of the knife make it look good. The sheath feels sturdy as well, it comes with 3 piece clips for restraint for the knife handle.Pros:- Good weight and balance- Heavy duty knife with durable finish- Comes relatively sharp (should probably still be sharpened)- Nice sheath- Good handle grip- Looks goodCons:- attached lanyard is super-cheap.. tossed it and replaced with 550 cordI'm sure there are better knives out there but honestly for the price, i would go with this one, even if you plan on just using it as a back up.
