Makes great pizza, but takes time to learn and experiment
This is a premium priced product, and it will take practice to make good pizza. The layout of the pro grate works well when you have it going. It took several attempts to make good pizzas (in terms of temp/cooking.) We are still learning.Make sure to use wood with each fire (charcoal does not get hot enough alone.) Be prepared to cut/purchase wood chunks (2-3" in diameter, 3-5" long) along with charcoal. I live in a rural setting where its plentiful, but in an urban area I'm not sure where you can easily obtain wood chunks.I have a dedicated pizza/oven system. I purchased a used grill for $60 and spent $200 on the kettle pizza. Just buying the pizza stone is not enough. You need to be able to feed the fire new coals and wood to maintain the heat levels. Even if you have grate with side openings, you need more access (3 sided with the pro grate). At a minimum, I'd consider the kettle pizza grill attachment, pro grate and stone. The pizza peel and metal tray can easily be picked up elsewhere.

Real Wood Fired Pizza
The Pizza Kettle delivers easy wood fired pizza right from your kettle grill. Easy to set up. It’ll take a couple firings to get your perfect heat dialed in. Once I figured out the right amount of charcoal, it delivers about 45 minutes to an hour of optimum cooking, enough to turn out 10 - 12 pies. This is not the oven for just making a date night pizza, as the amount of charcoal can get pricey, but for family pizza night or entertaing a group it works great!

worth the money
bought this Pro 22 kit and l was happy with the quality. Followed the directions for installation, and prepared to fire up the grill. Pizza cooked in about 6 minutes. Only thing I felt it needed was a higher temp above the pizza. I ordered the stainless steel baking steel. I went with the stainless steel because some negative reviews about the cheaper steel top rusted after a few weeks, its only $20 more, and I've already invested enough in this setup, not to get cheap now. I'll update once I use the new top. Looking forward to grilling with the new set up very pleased so far.

Great Product if You Work at It
The media could not be loaded. Does exactly what it claims but you have to learn how to use it.Balancing the fuel and the air flow is critical. You'll see in the video this is on a Master Touch Kettle.Even so Weber isn't expecting the kind of heat the KettlePizza can generate. The Kettle metal has no trouble with it but the plastic grip on the dome valve was liquefied by the 800+ temp it hit in short order. Balancing the Stone & the Dome takes practice. You'll be eating a lot of pizzas while you're getting good at it, some more or less scorched. As you buy it here the Stone gets hotter than the Dome if you're not careful. I did add the Steel to the Dome. It's now more likely to scorch the top than the bottom but I find it easier to control the Steel heat while keeping the Stone hot than to heat the Dome without scorching the bottom.BTW, a lot of videos on how this works, especially re: long burn, are bs. KettlePizza's in-house vids are limited but accurate. I use B&B oak charcoal but briquettes work fine. I lay on a few chunks of dried hardwood, either citrus, almond, walnut or oak.If you're a cook it's lots of fun once you get the hang of it. The pizzas are as good as you'll get out of an oven costing many times more.

Love this product
Love this product! I purchased the kit as a birthday gift for my husband and we are both very pleased with everything about it. If you are able to swing the cost -- because it is pricey -- go for this kit versus the other basic ones. This kit includes truly everything one needs to grill pizza and the open grate design allows for easy access to refuel the fire, keeping your cooking going. Amazingly quick delivery, careful packaging, quick and minor assembly, made in the USA, delicious pizza! What could be better? Storage can be tricky because the kettle is bulky, but worth creating space for.

Decent results our first time- I feel it is worth the effort to practice to get it right. Made two pizzas outside using the Kettle Pizza, and one indoors the same batch of dough) Quite a difference in taste and appearance. We really preferred the outdoor ones. We think the wood chunks we had were too small, the heat didn't hold quite as hoped.

I thought it was a great idea, but after using it several times
When I first saw this thing, I thought it was a great idea, but after using it several times, I am not so sure. I modified it by adding an additional stone on the upper grill which boosted the heat tremendously and made pizzas cook the way they should. It is way overpriced for what you get.

Makes great pizza. Get an infrared thermometer to read surface temps. Do not heat stone over 650 degrees. Pizza cooks too fast and product is not so good. 550 to 600 degrees makes excellent pizza. Go to local pizzeria and buy dough if you are pressed for time. This thing is as good as my brother's $10,000 stone oven.
