I used these treads to replace the plastic steps on my three rung in-ground swimming pool that had become brittle. I ordered these, they were very delivered and easy to install. Mine came with with the metal treads in white. Much better value than to replace the entire ladder. Highly recommend!

This is the first time with metal replacement ladder rungs. Easy to install and feel a lot sturdier than the plastic ones previously purchased on Amazon.

Highly necessary alternative to the original (and very slick) pool ladder steps. They provide a good grip and are very sturdy. The drawback is the underside design, which leaves very little room for the original bolts and nuts (hardware is not included), which makes installation difficult. I managed to make them work with some modification, however.

They work fine but are already rusting ((inside 30 days). The steps they replaced lasted 23 years with no rust. Bolt on mechanism is all plastic. Strong but really no way to properly tighten the nut end as they sit in a recess. So I had to buy non-standard bolts with hex heads to tighten from the outside. These are not smooth like normal pool bolts and can scratch someone if they are not careful using ladder. Contacted seller regarding the rust and will update if we can remedy.Update: Seller sent a new set right away. A+ for them but the bolt issue remains the same. The problem here is I would gladly pay for a better quality step but I am having a difficult time finding them.

I was concerned the length might be a little long for my old broken hard plastic steps that go on a 20” hole to hole in ground pool. They look; work great. Only negative, they didn’t come with hardware bolts/screws. My old steps used the original (shorter) hardware.

The treads don’t come with screws and my existing screws were not long enough. They are difficult to screw in because of how the treads are configured underneath as their is a plastic area that the screw goes into and then you have to fit the bolt which there is not a lot of space. Wish they came with screws because it meant a trip to the hardware store which made it even more inconvenient.

Ease of install, sturdy, fit like a glove.
