The stories are very old fashioned and the only scary one was about "The Monkey's Paw". Others would just be abiut the door creeking or experience at a morgue which was not scary for some reason. I think Steven King is scary or if you want real horror read books by the Lorrain Warren.

If you want bone shivering horror stories, than this book is not for you.Yes, if you want to hear good stories the stories in this book are very simple and fun to read.

Book is okayish.. stories are really old from 1800 to 1930.. so consider it before buying..

High quality stories , most end in a few pages , so you can read one or two per sitting if you are busy . Some have unusual plots and some have surprise endings .

This book is not a horror stories at all let alone the world's greatest horror stories.the stories are very bland and boring.no thrill at all.the language is also not simple.first story is so childish that i wonder if this is a comic book? Book quality is good though but the content is not up to the mark.don't waste your money and time on this one.this book is only for children.

I should first say about the standard of the English language.....the all proses written are written on vocabulary of old English and thus the standard is high and it is not be smooth, for any person without a minimum good vocabulary, to read the book.....and I will cut my one star for my experience of bad quality of paper that has been used in this book....otherwise it is a very good for lonely readers...✌️
