7 Red Mangroves, Aquarium Plants with Roots and 2 to 6 Leaves

I order these because I read they would help clear up the brown algae problem I was experiencing after I set up my tank. The plants arrived in good condition. About half of them have died already (within a few months). Also, half of them were too tall for my 55 gallon tank, so I had to plant them toward the back of the tank to allow the tops to stick out where my tank cover ends. You really have to stay on top of the leaves as they fall off because they do a good job clogging the filter inlets. On the plus side of things, between the mangroves and the vodka I added to the water, I was able to clear up the brown algae problem.

The customer service was beyond excellent, seller was contacted prior to order in regards to proper sizing as these mangroves were for a intank refugium for my reef tank. We messaged back and forth for proper sizing before I made my order. Plants arrived in good condition 5 day before the quoted delivery time! Also a few extra plants were thrown in as well. Very pleased and definitely recommend. Will update with photo!

Every single plant died. Very disappointed

All of the smaller specimens were almost dead on arrival and didn't last a week after that. I'm a veteran at growing mangroves in my salt aquaria setups. Such a disappointment!

I sent a message to the seller, and they replied saying that they would their best to select plants that were a good fit for my aquarium. The plants seem healthy. Long roots and many leaves. And I got more than 7. Thanks guys!

Mangroves should stay in the rainforest.
