KNS Switch Sight for Glock BLK

Searched for a month give or take, while also waiting on my RMR (different seller) for the best irons for my g19. I didn't want suppressor height sights, they just look clunky to me, and the big blade on the front seems kinda silly. Found these, did as much research as I could, and they seemed exactly what I was looking for.With them actually on the g19 now, I love them. Folded down, they're perfectly out of the way and dont clutter up the view, and folded up, they're perfect co witness for the trijicon rmr, on a cut slide. They seem sturdy and robust, and they stay in either position well, no movement or rattling.One note is that the rear is actually not press fit in like a normal dovetail sight. It slides in easily, and is then held in place with an included set screw. So, with a little loctite, wont move, but easy to set up and align/zero without the need for a sight pusher.All in all, nice, and worth it if you can find them at a lower price like these are on amazon, if you like the idea of flip up irons. Chances are, I'm never going to need to flip them up, unless I'm in the heat of battle with a paper target and the red dot battery goes out...Only thing is I just wish KNS made them with fiber optic instead of white dots. I will probably drill mine out at some point and add my own fiber. Not something I'd suggest for the average at home "gun smiff" however.

The rear sight is now press fit instead of set screw, which I prefere, installed on my Glock 26 with Holosun SCS in between the sights, looks great, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I wanted to show the fit and state that the rear sight is now press fit, I will update if I have issues.

They work as intended, normal height sights when folded down. I still prefer regular suppressor sights but these do work very well.

Rear sight does not fit my gen 5 34. The dovetail passes straight through with no resistance. Disappointed.

First off, I'm a certified Marine Corps armorer. I did that for 10 years then went off and trained foreign militaries for another 3. So I can confidently say, I know what I'm doing. On to the review: These are NOT sized to fit a gen 3 Glock like advertised. When installed, the dovetail on the rear sight is noticably smaller than the dovetail in the slide. You could see light all around it through that dovetail. Instead of a proper pressure fit, these are supposed to be held in place with a set screw and some blue loctite. I installed them per instructions, and sent a picture to the company asking if they were intended to have that much space in the dovetail and if I should use shims or something. They responded with "yes, they were designed like that, it's fine. Don't use shims." Seriously, it was a very short and curt email. Well, as expected, the rear sight fell off within 20 rounds. So, I centered them and filled the dovetail with red loctite to cement them in place. They work fine like that, but here's hoping I never have to remove them.Pro: I like that they flip up and down and they are the only sights I could find that do anything like that. So they get a star for functionality.Con: The sizing of the dovetail is complete crap and utterly lazy engineering. Unless you take extreme measures, your rear sight will fall off. -3 stars because a rear sight that's laying in the dirt is worse than useless.

These are KNS and I have purchased several sights from them and they have always been worth it. Just what you need when switching back and forth between red dot and just sights. They are built tough. Put it through some torture tests and held up! Also, this is the best deal I could find. Now if they only had night sights:(

Front sight required filing for my g26. It was very loose and needed threaded nipple filed down so screw would tighten.Applied lock tite retightened and all was well, overall they are nice, but for this price point they should not require fitting.

Works great on my G19 with Vortex Venom! Allows co-witness when in the up position. I could not co-witness with suppressor height sights.
