I love this adult coloring book as it is so easy to make lovely mandalas you can be proud to share with others. My friends and I are coloring one mandala each week, using a different color scheme each week, and we post our mandalas on Facebook to see how each of us has met the week's challenge. It is a lot of fun to compare and contrast our offerings.One of the nice features, of this coloring book, is that it has a nice variety of mandalas that require different skill levels from novice to expert. But even the simpler mandalas can be colored at an expert level to produce really stunning effects.The book has a decent quality paper that can take many different mediums including pastel pencils, colored pencils, markers, gel pens, etc. I often use mixed media and have gotten some lovely results that way.If you feel intimidated coloring mandalas, because you don't know what colors to use, a good trick is to select any artwork you like, and use the colors in the artwork. Most designs only need about 8 colors to produce a stunning work. You can even use the colors from ads in magazines or from fabrics around your house. Inspiration is everywhere.Flower Mandalas is a lovely coloring book for people of all coloring skill levels. If you are new to coloring, start with one of the easier ones and you will be amazed at how lovely a piece of art you can create.

This book was easy to color in the designs as they were not too small. I would prefer the outlining of the design was not so dark. Variety of patterns but they did not impress me.
