A high quality, inexpensive, area rug.
When one reviews inexpensive (cheap) products, one needs to approach star ratings with that point in mind. What this is not is a twenty-five hundred dollar, hand knotted, imported area rug. What this rug is, is an inexpensive, machine made, budget minded area rug which is imported from Turkey and the five stars given takes the above into consideration.First impressions: It looks great on the floor. Since it's very thin backed, it does need time to relax when first unrolled. We've had it for a week and it's settling into place nicely. There's still evidence of the little humps an area rug of this type gets from being rolled up tightly for shipping purposes. The rugs, without trouble, have been vacuumed using a battery operated stick broom as opposed to a full size, plug-in upright. I'll take one of the rugs out to the patio and let them sit in the afternoon sun and see if that helps the rug humps relax a bit more.General thoughts: We bought three of these area rugs. The two we've so far received were the smaller (3'7" X 5'2") rugs. The larger 8' X 11' rug should arrive the end of next week. Before installing (moving furniture) we'll be sure to give it some hot patio sun time. The blue coloration seems fairly close to the online image we saw on the monitor but the rose hue was more of a golden/dark straw coloration. No biggie as the colors work in our living room. We purchased these rugs for their blue/white base color. I'm making note of this coloration point as it may make a difference to some. To me, this is not a deal breaker as the rugs, irrespective of the minor coloration difference, look great on the dark laminate living room flooring.Insight: We've been buying and replacing area rugs for many decades. We've purchased area rugs at all the traditional big name department and hardware stores so my following comments reflect this buying experience. I find with rugs of this kind, yes, price does make a difference. The main difference found, is the overall thickness of the product. As you walk on this rug with bare feet and transition to a thicker (more expensive) area rug, you can easily feel the difference. We chose these rugs for both available selection in design and price. Before buying on Amazon, we stopped into the orange, big box hardware store where we've purchased many area rugs in the past and what was available was limited to area rugs that were not large enough and there weren't any corresponding, matching smaller sizes. The alternative to what was readily available was to hit the hip, go big and put in a special order at five to seven times the price of what was available; $750.00 - $1150.00. Yes, we're retired, budget minded shoppers and this too needs to be taken into consideration in the case of a review of this kind. So after shopping big name stores, it was off to Amazon where the final price for the three purchased area rugs was a rounded, more affordable, hundred and sixty-dollars.If later, you want to punch up the overall feel (thickness) of the area rugs, you can, at additional expense, add anti-slip pads. Use keyword "rug pad" for an Amazon search. Yes, this increases the total price but remember, for us, it was about available color/design/size/price and overall, this was the best we could find to match our budget minded shopping/home designer needs. Padding, at additional cost, can be added later as funds become available.Lastly: We're careful users of products of this kind so in my opinion, after a limited week of use, we expect to get many years of use out of these rugs. As long as one is aware of the differences in trim color between monitor vs in person and that this is a noticeably thin backed product, for the price, it's a great purchase we feel looks great on the floor and a purchase we could make again in confidence.Hope the above helps.(PS: We received the 8' X 11" rug. The stated size on the product label was: 7'8" X 10'7". We left the area rug in the direct sun on the backyard patio so as to heat both sides via the Summer noonday sun. After about two hours in the sun, once both sides were thoroughly heated, we then brought the area rug indoors for installation. In the short, the rug laid down on the living room floor perfectly. Very happy camper.)

Great price and the rug exceeded my expectations
We needed to replace our extremely old and worn 9x12 Persian rug. The old one was 100% wool and had many worn out spots after 30 years, and after shopping locally and being stunned by the prices, we turned to Amazon and discovered there were many less expensive options. With 4 cats, we wanted something durable, washable, and reasonable. And after a battle with moths, we were done with wool.So many choices on Amazon! Eventually we settled on the Home Dynamix rug, because it looked similar to our old one and was extremely well priced at under $100. (the price seems to fluctuate, when we bought it, it was $77 but a week later it was $69, and then a few weeks later $101). Also the different colors are different prices The "Country Blue" we chose looks really good in our living room and I am very satisfied with this purchase..I am very glad I read the reviews before purchasing - one was very specific about the need to open the rug up outside and let it air out for a day or two before putting it down. The rug definitely had an odor when it arrived, because it's a synthetic and it was wrapped tightly in plastic for shipping. Opening it up and laying it out on a table outdoors was good for two reasons - first, to get the odor out, and secondly, to get rid of the creases from shipping all folded up. We left it out on the patio for the entire weekend - luckily, it was sunny weather. When we put the rug down, there were still some creases (you can see in the photo), but we placed some heavy books on the creases and they eventually smoothed out.I am so pleased with this rug, I have recommended this to several friends already. It has the appearance of a much more expesive rug and it's just perfect for our needs. (And cat-approved!)

My girlfriend ordered one as soon as she saw mine!
The ONLY reason why I docked a star was because the color is quite infused with lavender, even though it states blue. However, I was kind of counting on that as that's exactly what I thought could happen to me after staring at the thumbnail picture for hours!Like everyone else in the world, 2020 sucked for us! However, the pandemic doesn't even make the list! And I'm a nurse that worked during the pandemic.Last summer we had 3 family members on Hospice in two different states at the same time. We're also a military family, which means that there is ZERO family near us. (It has its perks!)While my husband was in Arkansas caring for his father, and I was in Maryland caring for my Daddy and Uncle, it started flooding in my house. I figured it probably started as I was backing out of the driveway (and hey, that's just how my luck rolls!). We were gone for 3 weeks and we had turned up our AC to 90°. Needless to say, the house hasn't been the same since!I've always had rugs over our carpeting (got into that habit with all of the base housing in which we had resided), always. When we were stationed in The Netherlands, I would go to the auctions to buy my housewares. (We stationed at a Dutch base, only 120 Americans......the nearest base was Spangdahlem AB in Germany......good thing I'm fluent in Dutch.....going to auctions helped me in learning the language) I USED to own these beautiful hand tied, hand knotted rugs from Turkey. You know......the REAL DEAL. Our insurance agent had a massive cow, when I showed him the pics from our "situation". When I went to replace my rugs, turns out I was looking at paying roughly $15,000 - $20,000 per rug! (The most I paid for a rug at Auction was approximately $100 American.) Well, I certainly wasn't going to shell out $20K for a rug......and I had to replace 4 of them! My gal pal had recommended Amazon, and this seller. I'm so very grateful. First, it got here super fast.Second, the colors are so vibrant! I had decided to make our mess even bigger, so we're repainting the whole house since it's all discombobulated. The picture above was taken literally as we were starting to put furniture back into that room. I'm definitely getting a pad, and we bringing the rug back up so we can reroll it right side out, to hopefully diminish the rolls. The few, very few people who have been allowed in our home, have all oohed and aahed appropriately over the rug. Heck one of my gal pals ordered the EXACT same rug as mine when she was over. Hers arrived super fast too. I've ordered from these guys before (but didn't realize it until after my rugs were delivered), and EVERYTHING I've received has been top-notch quality. I haven't opened the others yet, as we haven't finished painting, but I'm excited to see its "siblings". Our 19 year old cat had to make her mark known not 5 minutes after unrolling it. (She's got asthma and has lots of mucus) These rugs are super easy to clean and maintain. I keep an old metal spatula, and when my cat (or my dog too, when he was alive) vomits, I use this old spatula to remove the heavy debris, that way it's not getting messier and bigger. I then use a good carpet cleaner to spray on the stain and then BLOT don't rub! Easy Peasy! I'll be buying more rugs in the Autumn. You can bet your booty, I'll be buying them from these guys!
