Unlike other smaller handheld crimpers, this crimper did great at crimping bullet type pins for MC4 connectors.It, also, did a great job in crimping ring connectors for 10 - 12 AWG wire.

These crimpers have exemplary quality along with the Made in Germany attribute. They offer a strong and precise crimp. I have no idea as to the advertised cut and strip capabilities, as I can't see any. The added alignment attachment tool is tight fitting and very precise. Not much else to say other than they will last a lifetime, no matter how many hours of usage.kd

Bought this to crimp MC4 connectors on a new solar system. For starters, these are crimpers only. There’s no stripping function to them at all. The depth “add on” is cheap plastic, and the adjustment screws to set stop depth won’t work as they’re just set screws that fall into the hole at the end of the connector. I won’t give these zero stars as for a crimper they do an acceptable job, but that’s all they are. Probably other tools that will do an equal job at a better price point.

the screw provided to attach the depth/position adjuster to side of crimpers is too short to grab the threads in provided hole,,,, screw must be at minimum three mm longer to positively grab the thread without pulling the threads and rendering it useless,, mine fell off after the second crimp,, as this product was imported to Mexico for me, at minimum i would like to see the manufacturer use some measuring tools to assess their fastener size , use of a simple pair of calipers will tell you if the screw is long enough for the hole,, then send me the appropriate fastener to attach depth/position adjuster,, c,mon guys its simple math ill update this review as i do/do not get results no word from manufacturer as of august 8th 2022entire depth adjuster is now broken after trying to baby it along ,,after 10 crimps? move along to another crimper this is not a quality product

Use them daily works great.

Works great. Heavy-duty tool. Commercial quality.

The tool crimp is ok, but the support attachment for the clips that hold the cable do not cover my expectations.
