TamaImperialstar Complete Drum Set - 5-Piece - 22 Inches Kick - Black Oak Wrap

Awesome kit and it arrived earlier than expected. The black oak wrap looks great and even the stock heads sound good. I replaced them with coated Evans G2s (not pictured above) and they give the toms a deeper warmer tone. I was a little wary purchasing from Adorama because they primarily sell electronics and the kit had no previous reviews, but nonetheless delivery was quick and the kit sounds great! Thanks!

*Picture includes an added 18” crash/ride which isn’t included with this kit*This is my first drum kit and I got to say I’m blown away by how good of quality this is. The detail of the shells is impressive. Great price for having everything included. I’m 215lb and the throne is a LITTLE light weight feeling but still works.. probably will upgrade in the future. I played a friends kit with Evans double ply heads and the sound is a lot better imo than the single plys these come with. Planning on getting my use out of these heads and upgrading which is cheap to do. Kit didn’t come with a manual but just go online if you have any questions on how things are put together..

Perfect for me being a beginner. Looks great sounds great.

Cymbals a little on the cheap side but good set for the price point. Those can always be upgraded later on as one gets better at playing them.

Ive had this set for a few months now so here is my in depth unbiased review.. Over all a good sounding set but the cymbals are the bottom bottom of the line meinl's which by the way sound like individual little gongs The snare stand well what can I say but its the worst piece of equipment I think I've ever used its so top heavy the thing teeters way too much and don't even try to angle it towards you unless you want to be supporting it between your knees. I've had it with this stand! It's useless. Although if you change out the heads kick included tune them low and replace the god awful cymbals and get a better snare stand and oh yeah a drum stool this one sucks unless you wrench that sucker tight it will take you straight down with it or it will be top heavy and you'll feel like your seat is on a wet noodle and about to snap off!!! The pedal is good I replaced mine with an iron cobra double pedal.

i had to drill a hole myself for the floor tom resonate head tension ring because it was never drilled in one of the tension rod spots but other than that everything came in the 2 boxes and i absolutely love it

To be honest I'm really disappointed in this buy. I didnt receive any of the hardware that shouldve been included. No stands. No pedal Didnt even receive a snare or 12 in tom nor the stand to mount the toms. Or legs for bass drum and floor tom. Hopefully i can receive all the stuff that i paid for
